《민주》
It is a hectic year for Minjoo with her newest debut as an artist, she has never had a proper sleep since months and now she finally get her well deserved rest. She decided on wandering off at the park near her apartment and just enjoyed the calm morning breeze tempting on letting her mind rest for a while.
The weather was not too hot and not too cold, just moderate for her to enjoy her day off. She was supposed to hang out with her friends later but she surely knows that they didn't mind her being late.
She was about to sit on a bench when suddenly a ringtone caught her off guard. Reading the caller id made her sigh. It was Chaeyeon and the older would never call her except if it's urgent.
"Yeoboseyo?"
"Yah, Kim Minjoo-ssi! Explain what's happening right this instant!"
A loud shout from Chaeyeon made her place her phone far away from her ear not wanting herself to be deaf already.
"Explain what? I'm at the park for god's sake. Do you want me to explain it to you how I got here? What I do when I woke up this morning? What I wear?"
"No no, stop Minjoo." The older cut Minjoo before the latter could go any further. "Have you seen the news?"
"....what news?" Minjoo asked, her mind going blank as bad thoughts filled up her mind.
"Let me send you the article and make sure to tell me the truth after that okay?"
And with that, their call ended. Minjoo just stared blankly in front of her, hoping that the news article isn't saying anything bad about her.
A notification snapped her out of the stance as she quickly opened the message from Chaeyeon. The words she read, she couldn't believe it.
Kim Minjoo seen to be drunk the night when her promotions ended
With a photo attached, it seemed like also pink haired girl but Minjoo is sure that she didn't even go out last night. She was binge-watching her favourite drama while eating ramyeon, how could she even have time to go to the bar?

Minjoo let out a sigh as she dragged her feet back to her apartment. Today was supposed to be the day she gets some rest but looks like the universe has other plans for her. Proceeding to her apartment, she only took her car keys and went out back. Each step feels more heavier than before.
"Ughh what did I do to deserve this? Is my old past is a bad guy? Bad Minjoo, bad!" She said as she start hitting her arms. All that she knows people around her might look at her thinking that she's a weirdo right at that moment but she couldn't care less. Her career is at stake now and it's more important.
-
"What do you mean I can't continue my idol career?!" Minjoo abruptly stood up from her chair as she slamed the table inside the meeting.
The CEO of her company just said that they wanted to cut off the contract between her and them and that really made her blood boil.
"We can't cooperate with idols that have issues Kim Minjoo-ssi. Please understand that it's going to ruin our reputation as a company." The ceo clamly said and took out a file containing informations about the said idol.
"Chaeyeon-ssi is going to have a slow talk with you about this issue and I hope you can follow what we have discussed together."
"Are you really going to cut me off just like this?! For fuck's sake I'm one of the artists that made this company famous! You're supposed to dig deeper into this thing not just throw me away." Minjoo shouted at the top of her lungs and harshly took her handbag beside her before storming out of the room.
Everyone inside was speechless by the the idol's sudden agressive behaviour though some of them felt symphatic towards her.
"Chaeyeon-ssi, go follow her before she goes wrecking evrything again." The ceo said again as he signaled the manager to go search for Minjoo.
Chaeyeon ran out of the room and went to every single part and corner of the building. She knows how the younger like to react especially when something doesn't go the way she thought. And to be facing this kind of backlash might be hard for her to take.
"Kim Minjoo!" Chaeyeon shouted when she saw the artist clearly sitting at the railings on the rooftop facing to the city below.
"Oh, hi unnie. I'm just enjoying the view here, do you want to join me?" Minjoo calmly said as she swung her dangling feet forward and backwards at the edge.
"Minjoo, don't do anything stupid please." The older pleaded with a very worried voice.
"This is not stupid unnie. Ending my life could make everyone happy at the moment. Look at how much hate I'm receiving right now."
"Minjoo, this is not it. Let's look for another way." Chaeyeon slowly walked closer to the younger girl.
An exasperated sight left Minjoo's mouth as she leaned her body a little bit forward looking at the view of the busy city down there. "Don't you think everyone would be more happier? At least I can just end all my sufferings right here, right now."
Chaeyeon looked at the girl and carefully held the younger's hand, squeezing it a little.
"This is why I don't want you to be an artist this early. You're still young Minjoo, you don't deserve to be treated like this."
Minjoo look behind to face Chaeyeon and felt like breaking down when she met the older's soft gaze. If it's not for Chayeon, she may have not come this far. From day one, the older has been by her side all the time and cheered her up everytime she feels down.
"Unnie," She felt her voice cracks before tears start falling from her eyes. "I can't do this anymore." She let out before carefully stepping down from the railings and went to Chaeyeon.
The older quickly engulfs Minjoo into a tight hug as she softly whispers small encouraging words to the idol.
Chaeyeon knows how soft the girl is, how easily affected her feelings can be by a single hate thrown towards her. Minjoo's self-confidence is quite low and the one who always encourage her is the three of them, herself, Sakura and lastly Nako.
"It's okay Minjoo. I'll make sure we're going to clean up your name, okay?" Chaeyeon said as she pat the younger's head. "As for now, why don't you take a break from this entertainment world? I'll speak with the ceo later about this."
Minjoo nodded as she sniffled. "Thank you unnie for everything."
Her glassy eyes showed sincerity and honesty. The look that people should treasure for. Chaeyeon is very mad about the ongoing rumours about her dongsaeng but she can't do much about it except telling other people who ask her that it's not true.
"Now, let's go back and hangout somewhere together. We can invite Sakura and Nako along with us too." Chaeyeon linked her arms with Minjoo and dragged her downstairs.
"Okay, unnie." The latter giggled and it sounds like music to Chaeyeon's ears. Finally, she gets to see the cheerful Minjoo back for a moment.
