<The King>

Cruel would be a very simple word to describe the king of Korea Nation. He was merciless, heartless, ruthless and the list goes on. It would be a lie if other kingdom kings weren't afraid of the king. They were so afraid to the extend that they would accept submit themselves to the king before the was would even begin. Heck. There was no need for war here. Just one letter from the king would make other kingdom's king kneel. That's how powerful was Jeon Jungkook, the king of Korea Nation. The rumours said that the first generation Jeons made a pact with the devil himself to keep their throne for generations.

As everyone has weakness, the king had one too. It was his infatuation for beautiful men. Yes, you heard it right. The king liked men. His father got to knew it and married him off to the another king's daughter thinking that his empire would expand and also his son would get into his senses. Jungkook refuses the marriage proposal but he had to agree at the end as his father threatened to disown him. And Jungkook hated it. He didn't wanted his cousins to take the throne. Thus, he got married at the age of 19 and became a king at age of 20.

His father was happy that his son was into women now. But little did he know that it was all a act. When his father died 2 years ago, Jungkook got his freedom. Time went by and his ego was in it's peak. 'Mine is mine and yours is also mine' became his motto. Since past two years, he kept bringing men from kingdom and used them for his desires. When their time his done, he would throw them off to some work branch in his palace like kitchen department, cleaning department or gardening department, etc. If once they enter the castle, they weren't allowed to go out.

He is 26 year old now and still continued bringing men in. His wife didn't object him. How can she even? She would sure be beheaded if she objects the king. Married for 8 years, still no intimacy in them. They were just together for the sake of the people.

Jeon Jungkook was sitting on the crown. No one was present as there was no important thing to be discussed about. Soon, his adviser Kim Namjoon came into the crown room and bowed.

"Greetings your majesty. Tell me your command."

"Which department did you put Hwan in?"

"Gardening you majesty. Do you like it to change it?"

"No need. Gardening suits him."

Jungkook smirked on imagining his and Hwan moments. Hwan was his previous toy and lasted the longest of all. The first one was Min who lasted for 6 months, next was Seung who lasted 4 months, Moonbin for 3 months, Beom for 4 months and lastly Hwan for 7 months. Jungkook was brought back to the present by Namjoon speaking.

"Why did you call me majesty?"

"I want to go to the city."

"You just visited yesterday, my king."

"That was in a carriage. This time, I am going as a normal citizen to check the welfare of the kingdom and also to find my new toy. Yesterday was a waste."

"Sure king. I'll inform the commander in chief and the soldiers to accompany you."

"Make sure to make them dress as commoners too."

"Sure your highness."

Jungkook was currently strolling around the city. It was hectic as the merchants of other countries arrived last week to sell their goods. He made sure that his hair and hat were placed properly so that people wouldn't recognize him. He saw the rich men buying the goods and middle class men bargaining with the keepers. He looked around and his commander in chief, Jung Hoseok was following him and the soldiers were all scattered around him. He didn't needed the security as he could single handedly fight if anything happens but still, his advisor insisted all the time so he had to bring them along.

After few more walks in the city, he decided to visit the lake at the end of the city. Not many would go there as the rumors said that it was a haunted place filled demons and shit but Jungkook didn't really believe it. He used to go there before and the nature there was extremely extraordinary. He quietly made into the forest and took some moments to observe the mother nature. His soldiers didn't follow him as they believed the the myth too. Only it was him and his commander. He went further more and that's when he heard someone singing.

He decided to follow the voice and it led him to the lake. He noticed a boy sitting near the shore with his legs playing with water. Around him was some cats and kittens. Beside him was a basket which was covered. Butterflies were flying around and so did the birds. Hoseok was now hiding near the bush so that he could attack if the person charges towards the king.

Jungkook took a step closer to the boy which made a creak sound. He looked down to see that he stepped on a stick of wood. The singing stopped and Jungkook mentally slapped himself. He wanted to know that boy. He was very intrigued by him so he spoke.

"Excuse me? Why did you sto-"

His voice caught in his throat when the boy turned his head to face Jungkook which made Jungkook's breath stop. The boy had the fairest skin of all and his red plump lips that looked so kissable at the moment.

Jungkook knew that he would be damned now.

This is how Korean men used to look like and dress like in olden days. The dress is called hanbok and it has various kinds in it. This is a hanbok for commoners who are kind of rich. The colour tells the position of the citizen in most of the case. The long hair was very common. Even the kings used to have it. (Btw, Tae in this outfit should need more attention. It's so underrated. Historical Tae is just...😍😍😌)
