based off the stockings/tights entry from my kinktober challenge last year.
the one thing that jaebeom hates about exploring new islands... is when the port is too small for his main ship and he has to leave it vulnerable at open sea. majority of his crew is there, to protect the vessel from any possible attack, but he's not there, and it leaves him sick. normally, he would be fine, but now he has precious cargo, worth more than all the jewels, gold and rum hiding in the storage of the boat.
mark steers the long boat to the side of the ship, his crew working on pulling it up to lock it up onto the main deck. he hops off the long boat once it's okay to do so, yugyeom running over to report to him. "hello captain!"
"unload the boat and put everything away into storage."
"yes, captain... but don't you want to hear about—"
"were you attacked? is anyone hurt?"
"no, and no."
"then i don't care. where is she?"
"captain's quarters... she's not feeling well."
"you should have led with that."
"i tried to..."
"no one bother me unless it's an emergency. tell youngjae to move the ship and head west."
"yes, captain."
jaebeom rushes to his quarters, worry eating him alive. when he enters the cabin, he finds his most precious treasure buried under the blankets. "seulgi? what's wrong?" he asks, kicking off his shoes and getting into bed with her, wrapping his arms around her form.
"honey? you're back?" she wonders, turning and cuddling closer to him. he frowns, wrapping his arms tighter around her.
"tell me, what's wrong."
"i just feel nauseous; i think it's just sea sickness."
"we've been out to sea for months. it can't be just sea sickness, my love."
"i went to the infirmary and they couldn't find anything else wrong with me. so i've been bedridden for a few days. joohyun and wendy bring me food and keep me company, but i guess that's not necessary since you're back."
"yeah... i have something that will hopefully make you feel better." jaebeom sighs, unwrapping himself from around her to fetch what he thinks can help. she sits up a bit, smoothing down her bedhead.
"i feel gross." she complains, watching him rummage through his stuff until he pulls out a vile filled with mysterious purple liquid.
"on the contrary, i think you look as beautiful as ever."
"aren't you the charmer." seulgi giggles as jaebeom returns to her side, she cups his cheeks, pulling him forward for a kiss. "what are you about to make me drink?"
"it's a potion... one that helps with practically any uneasy stomach."
"where did you get a potion? did you bring this from the underworld?"
"yes. demons are quite resourceful."
"will it taste bad?"
"yes, but i have some beer to help wash it down." he comments, pulling a bottle out of his secret stash.
"just what i want... stale beer." she complains, drinking the potion and then quickly downing some of the beer. "that's supposed to make me feel better?"
"give it a few minutes." he promises, "i feel terrible that i left you here alone while you were sick."
"it's fine... i wasn't sick when you left. in fact, sooyoung teased and said that i was suffering from lovesickness when the doctor said nothing was wrong with me." seulgi giggles as jaebeom rubs noses with her, she cups the back of his head, playing with the ends of his hair. "i was starting to believe it for a second... i was so worried about you."
