Cleril
Peril was not melting things for once. Clay was so happy. "So what do you want to do?" Peril asked. Clay said "do you want to go out to dinner? We could go to Claws City Diner! Or we could go to the Festival of Lights and then Claws City! Or..." Peril laughed softly. "Dinner and the Festival sounds great, Clay." Clay grinned. "Can we stop at Jade Mountain first? I need to get something."
At JMA
"Arg where is it? Where did it go?" Clay was panicking. Peril was standing in the middle of the room with her eyes closed and her talons over her eyes. Sunny and Starflight walked in. "Hey Clay!" Sunny said. "Hey Sunny!" Clay answered. "Do you remember where I put the thing in the fuzzy box?" Sunny shook her head. "Nope, sorry!" Clay smiled. "It's ok. I can go without it." Tsunami walked in at that moment and handed Clay the fuzzy box. "Thank you, Tsunami!" Clay said. He put it in a pouch under his wing. "Ok, Peril, let's go." Peril took her talons off her eyes. They walked out of the cave together and as they left, Clay glanced over his shoulder at Tsunami. "Thank You!" He mouthed.
At the Festival of Lights
Clay and Peril stood at the entrance to the Festival. Peril was awestruck. "How... where... what..." she stammered. "Do you want to go in?" Clay asked, smiling at her. Peril didn't answer, she just raced right through the entrance. She looked around. "I've never been to... one of these." She said sadly. "I'm just seen as a monster. I don't deserve to go to normal things." Clay looked at her. He took her talons in his. "Peril, my perfect firescales, you are not a monster, no, and anyone who says otherwise can... can go sit on a cactus. No, I'm serious!" He said as Peril gave him an indignant look. "They're swampheads." Peril giggled. They went over to a jewelry booth and Clay looked at the armbands. He saw a gorgeous amber colored one and asked the vendor "How much for this bracelet?" The vendor told him and Clay paid for it. Peril had been looking at a necklace. "Peril?" Clay said. Then he saw the necklace she was looking at. "Oh." he said. "I got this for you." Peril turned around and saw the armband Clay was holding. "I love it!" She yelled. Clay gave it to her and helped her put it on. Next they walked around, until Peril saw something that made her scream in delight. "They... it's a... how... CAN WE GET THAT?!" She didn't wait for Clay's answer. She raced right over to the animal seller's booth. The one she had been so excited about was a cat. Only it was an enchanted cat. It had fur that was on fire, but as she watched, the cat's fur became normal. Clay walked over and saw the cat. Without even the slightest bit of hesitation he walked up to the booth and bought the cat, as well as the food, toys, and other things they would need to take care of it. Then they left for Claws City Diner.
At Claws City
Clay and Peril were debating. Debating about food, that is. Clay said the Chicken and Pasta was better. Peril disagreed. The waiter came by and they stopped their argument to say Thanks and then continued as they ate. Clay started to list the reasons why the Chicken and Pasta was better. At number 7(chicken was soft with slight crunch), Peril stopped him. "Clay, why are we arguing over this?" Clay looked her in the eyes. "I don't know. Let's not." Peril agreed and they ordered dessert. After dessert, Clay brought Peril to a grassy hill. They sat together and watched the stars. Unbeknownst to Peril, Clay had slipped around so he was standing behind her. He coughed slightly and she whipped around. "Peril, you are the light of my life. You make me so happy. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. Will you marry me?" Peril gasped. "Yes! Yes yes yes a thousand times yes!" She shouted.
