Prologue:
Love.The word,the feeling,and the emoticon. We all fall under the spell of it. Love can be seen or even done in different ways. From love at first sight to death. Hi , I'm John and i'm here to just express or tell of what happened to me and a girl I loved and still love. Also don't expect a good story. Also I don't care if I sound stereotypical here, criticize it all you want I don't care
Chapter 1: How It Started
Well, where should I start ..... Ah, yes i know. I'll start by how i met this girl. It was when I in grade school. I was just new to the school and we had an assembly. During the assembly, I didn't know what to do so I just stayed quiet. Then, I heard someone say "hi" I turned to the right and saw a girl she was cute. I replied back politely "hello". She seemed shy, she introduced herself, Mary, so we chatted until the assembly ended. We both said "goodbye", and that's how i met her and got my first crush. Simple right?
Chapter 2 : We Meet Again
After a year or so, I saw Mary with my friend, Mark, can't believe my friend knew her. So, I walked up and said "hello". Then, I was thinking she wouldn't recognize me, but to my surprised she did. My friend invited to me to eat with them, so I ate with them. We chatted for a very long time until the bell rang. We all said goodbye and parted in different directions, but i looked back to see that Mary and my friend were together going upstairs. I hoped not they were together, I'm a jealous type neither
Chapter 3 : Friendships
After a year, me and Mary became good friends. We would talk in recess, lunch, and even dismissal. Then, one lucky year we became classmates. I still had a crush on her but I couldn't express it. My friend, Mark was my classmate also, so one day I was chatting with him, then he asked me "who is your crush". Of course I had to answer that and i said "Mary". Then out of no where he screamed it out loud. I looked to Mary hoping she didn't her, I saw her reading so I thought she didn't her it. I was lucky she didn't hear it, I was going to hit my friend but I'm not like that I just ignored him for a while. So from that day, I kept that I had a crush on Mary a secret.
Chapter 4 : A Destroyed Hope
When I went to high school, It was the first day and I looked for Mary. I looked and looked, but I couldn't find her, so I gave up. Then, headed down to eat recess, everything seemed so new. After I got food, I saw her, Mary I was so happy, I went to talk to her, we chatted. I wanted to say what I felt from before but the bell rang. So i planned to say it at dismissal, the periods were so boring, I was to anxious to even listen to the teacher. Then finally the last period came, when the bell rung for dismissal I ran for the lobby. Then I waited a while, I saw her but my heart sunk, she was with a guy. They seemed so close with each other, so I just said "hi" and left. I was so heartbroken, destroyed. This lasted for weeks, everyone wanted to help me and cheer me up, but I ended up putting on a fake smile everyday. Dreams, some are successful some are destroyed. Goes to show you everything doesn't end in a happy way.
Chapter 5 : A Second Chance
After a few months, I was back to normal, happy, making friends, new crushes, many more things happened. Oh I also met another girl, Kaitlyn, she was nice, cute , beautiful. Even, we both had the same interests. I tried asking her out, but all of my tries were unsuccessful. Anyway, enough about Kaitlyn, she's a different person. Okay, so back to the story, I was still friends with Mary. We chat casually but I still had feelings for her but I can't say it. Then, I found out she broke up with him. I was happy but sad, they were good together but i have a chance again. So I waited for until she was better. So I waited and waited. Until that day came.
Chapter 6 : The Moment
I kept on waiting, and waiting. Then one day, she came to me to talk about an issue. We talked and talked, but I couldn't wait anymore, so I expressed what I felt about her. There was a moment silence, she looked surprised, then I was surprised when she said she liked me also. We both left in an awkward silence. After a few days, I asked her out but she avoided the question. Then, after a week, she finally answered yes. I was so happy, so we both had a good time. So after that day we were very close with each other. Life was good really good nothing bad could happen
Chapter 7 : Bad Timing
I was happy with Mary. Then one day, life punched right in the face. Out of nowhere, tons of problems happened. So, every time I went to school, I was happy because I was away from those problems. No one never knew what happened in my personal life. But my problems kept on worsting. So, one day I couldn't handle it anymore. I was dumb on what I did, my mind wasn't thinking at that day.
Chapter 8 : The Break - Up
Ah....the day I wished to never happen. The one thing couples never ever wanna happen. It was my fault to it. I loved her but the timing was terrible. God, I hate myself even until today, why I did I do it you ask. My life was just crashing down, I wasn't thinking. Mary heard that I didn't like her anymore. I still loved her I said, so the both of us had the dreadful...... "talk". We never fought as in never but she needed to know if I loved her still so we had the talk. After the talk, we broke up, but I gave her a promise, I told her "I'm not ready but I'll be ready when your ready also, I'll wait for you". I still wait for her until today. Life you don't know will happen or what it'll do.
