A/N: This is our first ever positive poem so please forgive any errors you may come across, constructive criticism is really appreciated and we hope you enjoy.

A warm embrace of the heart itself

A healing touch for your burns

One that can do more than just conceal

Mending your scars inch by inch

Even the smallest portion goes a very long way

For gentle words can ease the torturous pain

Pain in which we otherwise would have delved deep within

It costs nothing but is priceless nonetheless

For it brings us joy and harmony

And is a mark of character and integrity

One we can change and mold as we please

Words that are short in length but great in impact

Sharp and yet soft, as though covered in a ball of fluff

Yet they can create deafening cracks in the walls surrounding one's heart

Cracks too great to be filled, too visible to be hidden

But not impossible to embrace like a precious jewel around the neck of royalty

Adorned by many, treasured by only a few...
