Chapter 4

(Alex's pov)

" Please stop...just please ... no more.."

I heard sobbing. The cries are getting louder and louder.

" SHUT THE FUCK UP! YOU TELL ANYONE THIS AND I WILL KILL YOU SLOWLY AND PAINFULLY LIKE WHAT I DID TO YOUR FATHER!!"

Everything turned red.

I could hear screaming.

I could hear the crunching of bones breaking.

What am I doing?

" WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOUR DOING HUH?!?!"

I felt a kick in my ribs...followed by a punch in the stomach.

"FUCK YOU!" I said while spitting out blood.

" NO! Fuck you kid. If you just let me do my thing both of you wouldn't be bruised and battered now..huh?" He smirked.

I just wanted to wipe that grin off of his face.

Blue and red lights started to shine.

" Shit....you win this time but I'll be back."

He ran off, leaving me and Jess lying on the floor.

" Alex..." She mumbled.

I crawled my way over to her. The pain in my body was unbearable but seeing her in pain just broke me apart.

She held a hand to my cheek and said these last few words:

" I love you Alex. This was not your fault."

Her life slipped away.

Its all my fault.

MY fault.

MY FUCKING FAULT!!!

"ALEX WAKE UP!!! PLEASE ALEX, ITS JUST A NIGHTMARE!! WAKE UP!!" 

I heard Lauren screaming, but Jess's pleas of help were getting louder.

" Help me please!!!"

"ALEX!!!!"

I opened my eyes. My body was covered in sweat.

" What..what happened??" I asked.

Everyone was in my room all looking at me with sad faces.

" You had a memory...the worst one yet.." My dad said shaking his head.

" Ju-just make it st-top. It hurts..." I said before everything turned black.

(Holly's pov)

" Well wasn't that a nice dinner? " my mum said smiling.

I always wondered how she could stay this happy..

" It was great."

" You and Alex seem to be catching up on a lot of stuff back there. Anything new?"

" Same old same old.."

I stopped.

" Mum, did you know Alex was gay?"

"Yes dear...even before she knew it herself but who do I care? Love is love isn't it?" She said with a grin on her face.

" But...why didn't you tell me?"

" Because she is your best friend."

" Was.." I corrected her.

" Anyways...I can read her easily. Even if she's changed she's stil the same girl. On the outside shes strong and muscular, I agree but on the inside..don't you see she's still that shy girl trapped inside?"

" Yeah..I noticed it before...when I look at her eyes, there's so much pain behind the cover up of happiness mum..it just breaks my heart.."

" I know sweetie...thats why you have to help her open up...not to be scared anymore..."

( Mystery pov)

" I don't care how you do it, I want her dead. She is still after me and I want that rascal gone. One way or another, I'm gonna make her life a living hell.." I said, snarling at the man on the phone.

" Everyone..Gather up your things..We're taking a little vacation to Florida!"

" Watch out Alex..I'm coming to get you..."

Alright guys, I know this chapter is quite short but I've been having writer's block lately. If anyone out ther has any ideas please help or share the ideas in the comments. TY all you lovely lot.
