"Alice..." Jasper croaked. But before he could say any more the pixie-haired girl took hold of his hand.
"Jazz, for the hundredth time it's okay and I meant what I said" she smiled giving his hand a light squeeze.
Jasper looked down at their hands and nodded, his expression showing clearly the sadness he was feeling. He swallowed the lump in his throat and kept his gaze away from Alice's "Okay. I'll ask Mr. Jenks to send the divorce papers" Since they had technically married once, he felt it was only right to formally end it if that was what she wanted.
