After a long discussion of why he didn't tell them who he was at first sight, they all got ready for a long day tomorrow.
"Hello Thalia," Eachtar said.
"Hey Neeks."
"I haven't been called that in a long time," Eachtar said, "Artorigus, Morgana and I want to talk to you."
"Is it about why I'm feeling so powerful?" Thalia asked.
"Yes."
Eachtar then took Thalia to the Throne Room and when they got there, Thalia heard Morgana say, "Why would Avalon even pick her? She's the sister to the boy who raped me."
She said boy as if it was a curse.
"Morgana," Artorigus said calmly, "I do not pretend to know why Avalon chooses people, but I do know that she was chosen because it's her destiny to be a part of Avalon itself."
"Fine," Morgana said, "but it doesn't mean I'll be kind to her."
"I don't expect you to be," Artorigus replied before noticing Eachtar and Thalia, "sorry 'bout that. Morgana has a bit of an issue when it comes to you and your family."
"Understandable my leige," Thalia replied, "what is it that you need to speak with me about?"
"You see there are 6 to 12 Deities of Avalon," Artorigus said, "until today there have only ever been 3 since the fall of Camelot when the originals faded."
"But what does this have to do with me?" Thalia asked, confused.
"Avalon itself chooses who will be a member of the Avalon Council," Eachtar replied, "each of us have at least 6 domains that are in some way connected to Camelot or Avalon in general. I am the God of the Shadow Realm, Betrayal, and Darkness. Morgana's involve her looks and magic. Artorigus' involve his skills and power. Now for your answer, the way this involves you is that you seem to be the next one to join us on our council. You, Thalia Grace, are the Avalon Goddess of the Hunt, Forests, and Archery."
A bright light filled the Throne Room and when it subsided Thalia was standing there. Her punk-like hair was now a silky black that went down to her mid back, she retained her Hunter's clothing except it was more of a soft grey, her eyes were no longer electric blue, but a beautiful forest green.
"Eachtar," Artorigus said.
No reply.
"Eachtar!"
Again, no reply.
"EACHTAR!"
"Yes?" he asked.
"Please take Thalia to her room, while I talk to Artemis and tell her why she doesn't have a lieutenant anymore," Artorigus said with a sigh, "actually on second thought... Morgana came here. I have an idea and I'll need your help."
