The Unexpected Distraction

First Things, First.

 It was a quiet Friday Evening in the class 1-A dorms as Shinso was finishing up on a paper he had due. Shinso had only been in the hero course for a month, But everyone was very Welcoming to him even when he gave them the cold shoulder. Hitoshi knew he had to work harder than everyone else and could not afford any distractions. Unfortunately, a distraction came out of the blue he tried to avoid with all his might.

The girl who took his attention from his everyday studies was coming out of the elevator. Her Long H/C was flowing down her shoulders; a smile spread across her face as she talked to the other girls. Shinso studied every detail of her being. Her eyes met his a blush creeps across her face as she walked over.

"Hi, Shinso" you say biting your bottom lip, his deep-set amethyst eyes to intimidating for words. Looking up at you trying not to seem desperate he replies. "Hey Y/N."

"Would you like to hang out after you're done with your work?" You asked Him, Hoping to get some quality time with the cold-shouldered individual.

"I don't have time for fun right now, I'm sorry." He said as he went back to writing his paper.

"Come on Toshi, Just an hour of your time, Please for me?" Y/N said with puppy dog eyes as she begged for him to give her the time of day.

Hitoshi Looked up at her and his mind wandered off to how badly he wanted her to beg for more than his time. With a sigh he murmured "okay just an hour.; Hoping he wouldn't regret his decision.

Y/N's excitement almost split out her mouth. "Okay, Here's my number text me when you are headed up." as she hands a piece of paper to him. Blush getting brighter as she walked away.

Taking the paper, Toshi then enters the number on his phone, smiling as he types in a nickname. "Kitten," he whispered under his breath.

A couple of hours went by as he finished up his paper, Looked down at his phone he sent out a message to Y/N.

Shinso: I'll be there in 10 mins if you're not busy.

Y/N: Sure, That'll be fine. The door will be unlocked. Make yourself comfortable.

10 Mins Later.

Shinso stopped in front of Y/Ns door, taking a deep breath trying to clear his mind of the inappropriate thoughts he had been having earlier. His hand goes for the knob as he realizes they will be alone, Together. As he opens the door Y/N comes up behind him tapping his shoulder to get his attention.

Looking down at the shorter girl, her H/C still wet from what Hitoshi assumed to be a shower. Her matching black tank top and short outfit showing more skin than she should at that moment. "Here, let's go in." Y/N said before opening her door letting Shinso in first.

Y/N offers him to sit anywhere he feels comfortable. In her room a bed, a desk chair, and a small desk littered with paperwork and books. He chooses the desk chair as he looks around the room, using his hand to rub the back of his neck as he gets nervous. You slowly study the features of his face, his long purple locks, so untamed. The dark circles under his eyes made him look like he hasn't slept in days. Still, through all of that you found him extremely attractive.

"So you enjoying being in Class 1-A?" You ask Shinso as you watch his eyes drift around your room. "You seem so busy, Haven't had time to make friends have you?"

He turns to you trying to find a good excuse for pushing everyone away, yet he's unable to come up with one that didn't sound rude. "Yeah, I've been busy" he studders. "I'm a year behind everyone else, so I have to work twice as hard." Sighing he looks down at his feet.

"Well you don't have to avoid everything, it's good to let loose once in a while." Y/N said while she dropped to her knees in front of him, trying to get him to pay attention to her. "We could always try and be friends" Biting her bottom lip hoping he would agree.

Hitoshi looks at her on her knees and his mind goes wild with all the possibilities. Shaking his head slightly he looks into her eyes and nods in agreement. "yeah, we could give it a shot." Realizing he would do anything to just spend more time with her. She smelled as good as she looked when he took a deep breath again trying to clear his mind.

With a smile on her face, she jumps up and climbs onto her bed opening her laptop. "Want to watch a movie?" She asks him patting the bed next to her. "unless you want to do something else?" Giving him the puppy dog eyes again.

Oh how the puppy dog eyes keep bringing out the animalistic nature in him. a low growl escapes his chest as he nods and goes over to the bed next to her. he leans down and scrolls through her list of movies and clicks a horror movie. He tries to hide his smirk as he gets a little closer trying to relax.

The movie starts playing but Shinso isn't paying attention as he watches every little move she makes. In his mind he keeps repeating to himself he doesn't need the distraction. He can't decide if he should throw caution to the wind and take a chance, all that matters right now was he was content. Smirk still remained on his face as she snuggled closer after a particularly scary part. Things we're moving slow but at least they were moving forward.
