It was c. 1300 BC in Greece when Ophelia turned into a vampire by her brother. She is stoned forever at the age of nineteen. Due to her special abilities as a vampire, she is recruited as the Head of the Volturi Guard. She is placed and valued very highly in the Volturi for her quiet and calculating persona. Demetri is known to be the best tracker in the world. He's able to track anyone from the tenors of their mind or anyone's mind, however there was something about Ophelia that intrigued him. He couldn't track her.
