Lisa's pov

A month passed by. After the death of my parents I was now living with my Uncle and Aunt who also had two mischievous but lovely 8 years old twin sons. It was 7 in the morning. As always I was getting ready for my school but suddenly someone knocked at my door. "Come in!" I said while Combing my hair in front of a mirror. I heard a door clicked open and saw Uncle Hyun-suk peeking his head in the door and the look on his face made my heart sink.

Uncle Hyun-suk stepped into the room followed by my Aunt Eun-ju who was carrying a beautifully carved little box in her hand. They shut the door behind and stood in front of me with a worried looks on their faces.

"Is something wrong? " I asked with a concerned look.

"No, no Lisa, we just wanted to talk to you for a minute" He answered.

"Okay...." I said as I stared at them in confusion.

"This was your parent's.... " Aunt Eun-ju spoke while showing me the little box.

Trailing off, I met her eyes in question.

"I thought you'd given me everything of them already" I said with a hurtful eyes.

With a sigh, she looks down and runs her hand over the carved top of the box.

"We thought this one was best saved when it was the right time for you to accept and appreciate it. Besides, your mom left instructions. " Uncle Hyun-suk said.

"But I thought..." Uncle Hyun-suk cuts me off.

"This was important to her, so she made sure we knew, just in case something ever happened. " He says with a closed smile on his face. Aunt hands me the box. Then Uncle motions to the box, urging me to open it.

I slowly opened the box eagerly. And the first thing that caught my eyes was a Blue Crystal heart shaped pendant. Examining it closely, I saw a long black stick, blue bottle filled with blue liquor, a bundle of twigs along with a note attached that states "Only use these when it's necessary"

"That's weird... " I said to myself.

Looking up at my Uncle and Aunt, they both just shrugs "We've never looked in it, so please don't ask us what all this is. " Uncle says with a confused look.

Smiling, I opened my arms wide and hugged them tightly. "Thank you! Thank you for everything. Thank you for always making me feel like I'm part of this family. Thank you for keeping these things safe for me."

Tears rolled down my eyes. After a few moment we broke our hugs. Hesitating, Uncle pulls out a folded envelope from his pocket and hands it to me.

"What's this? " I asked while wiping off my tears from one hand and holding an envelope from the other.

They remained silent not uttering a single word. I immediately opened the envelope, took out the letter and started reading it. My eyes grew wide staring at a Transfer Certificate in my trembling hands.

"Uncle... " I looked up questioning them. "What is all this? Why am I being transferred all of a sudden? That also in Korea? Ain't Thailand education good enough? Please answer me Uncle... Aunt? " My eyes drifted from Uncle to Aunt waiting for an answer.

"We're sorry. We have no idea. I received a strange phone call by a Mysterious person to receive this. And it was left right in front of our door" He says crossing his arms.
