Chapter fourteen: Beach Day Turned Wrong

Warning: A little violence 

"Wake up, wake up! Wwwaaakkkeee uuuppp!" Screamed a super hyper beagle line. Baekhyun launched himself at my barely awake figure on my own bed. While Baekhyun did this Jongdae launched himself off to the other side of my bed that was not occupied by anyone for once. The hybrids decided to sleep in their own bedrooms for once. Chanyeol just stayed at the end of my bed, shaking my leg to get me up. I tied my best to roll over with a Corgi hybrid now laying across me. I checked the time on my phone, only to see that it was 6:00 AM. "Why are you waking me up at 6:00 in the morning?" I questioned the three over-hyper hybrids. "Because we're bored, why else would we wake you up," Jongdae said with so much sass that I'd think he woke up on the wrong side of his bed this morning. "Okay, why couldn't you wake up one of the others, I'm sure they would hang out with you," I suggested to the three, mainly to the sassy cat hybrid. "We don't want to hang with them, we want to hang out with you," the cat hybrid said, dropping his sass for once.

I reluctantly got out of my warm bed, moving Baekhyun with me. I walked into the bathroom down the hall from me, splashed my face with some water, and brushed my teeth. I then walked downstairs with the three hybrids following closely behind me. We walked into the kitchen together, I grabbed a box of fruit loops cereal and a bowl from the cupboard, I poured myself some fruit loops and then went to get some milk. The three hybrids also poured themselves some cereal after I placed the box down. The four of us sat down and ate breakfast together, talking about what we should do today. Some of the suggestions were, go to the beach, the park, take a walk around town and go out to eat as a family. All of the suggestions sounded interesting enough to fill our day up. Maybe going to the park or the beach we could invite Anna and her five hybrids, along with Seokjin and Namjoon.

After eating breakfast with the three hybrids, we went to watch some movies until the other hybrids slowly woke up. We would then decide together what we would do today out of the suggested activities. It didn't take long for the others to wake up and get something to eat. We all just stayed on the lounge watching cartoons until 9:00 AM, when we decided that it was time to get out of our pyjamas and into some actual clothes.

I got dressed in some blue ripped jeans, some Nike shoes and a plain yellow t-shirt. I brushed my teeth again as I'd eaten breakfast, and then went back to the lounge to wait for the hybrids to be finished so that we could discuss our options for today. When I got back to the living room, Kyungsoo, Jongin and Baekhyun were already sitting on the lounge waiting. I sat down next to Baekhyun and leaned my head on his shoulder, feeling the warmth he gives off. I had my jacket on the end of the lounge to wear today, as outside is a bit chilly in the shade, our house is in the shade.

After 10 minutes the other hybrids began to make their way downstairs to the living room. They were each dressed in jeans and a hoodie to ward off the coldness. "Guys earlier Baekhyun, Jongdae and Chanyeol suggested some things that we could do today. The options were, going to the beach, for a walk, to the park and to go out for a meal later on today," I suggested to the hybrids who weren't there this morning. "I would like to go to the beach, but I like the sound of the park too," Yixing spoke his thoughts. "I'd like the beach, we haven't been together yet," Junmyeon said. He's not wrong, we haven't been to the beach altogether yet. The hybrids each nodded together in agreement with Junmyeon's words. The beach it is. At least the beach doesn't have much shade, we won't be cold there.

We went off to our bedrooms to change into some swimwear. I wore my blue polka-dotted bikinis, with some shorts and my denim jacket over top. While waiting for the boys to come back dressed and ready to go, I decided to grab some towels to bring to dry off. I also grabbed some orange juice and some water to go with, as we will probably go somewhere to eat for lunch while we're out. After packing the water bottles and juice bottles into a backpack, I handed the towels over to the hybrids, one each and then we began our walk to the beach. The walk would be at least 30 minutes, but it'll be good to stretch our legs.
