Description:
I tried to run away from my demons, but they followed me here...
---
Jasper thought he'd gotten away, he thought it was finally over. But when he stopped to take a breath he found that was far from the truth. Will he ever be able to move on from his past, will it ever let him go?
---
Connor doesn't know what's happening. He was used to not giving a fuck about pretty much anyone or anything. He was your typical popular guy who did typical popular guy things like playing football, hooking up with chicks, going to parties, etc. But lately he's pushed all that aside for someone he never even knew existed before.

Jasper's Pov.
As I walked into chemistry, I was not expecting anything to happen. Just another boring lesson, where the teacher droned on and on about something I already knew but had to pretend to have no idea about. I hated school for several reasons. One of those being that all the classes were extremely boring, as I already knew most of the content we were learning. I wasn't a genius or anything, I just liked to read, and could take in information incredibly quickly thanks to my eidetic memory.
I was relatively new to the school, having only been here for about six months. So when I'd transferred I'd tried hard to keep the memory thing a secret. A few wrong answers here and there to avoid getting perfect scores all the time seemed to do the trick. Not that it was really worth hiding anymore, they'd already decided I was a freak. Choosing to sit alone everyday and not interact with anyone had labelled me as the weirdo, loner kid. I didn't mind it much, I was still much better off here than... there.
I don't know what was different about today, or what set it off. It was probably the faint smell of smoke lingering in the air from the experiments done in the previous class. In my defence, I thought I'd overcome that particular trigger, but I guess I got careless.
It was only when the image flashed through my mind, of flames engulfing those red curtains and sending shadows dancing across the walls, that I realised something was wrong. I blinked rapidly, attempting to push the images away.
This can't be happening.
I tried to fight it but the darkness was soon seeping into my vision, stealing away all the colour and light.
Not now...
A wave of dizziness took over and I suddenly felt as though my body weighed ten times more. My knees started to buckle under the pressure of holding the rest of me up. So I hesitantly reached my right hand out to the nearest bench, trying to steady myself. It didn't take long until I felt the last reserves of my energy drain away, relinquishing control over my mind and handing it directly to my memories.
It felt like I was there again, like everything was happening just as it had before. It felt like my skin was prickling with the heat and the smoke was creeping into my lungs. The flames begging for my attention as they slowly, but surely, burned me alive. And there was nothing I could do, but lie there... and wait.
The last thing I remember before blacking out was the sound of someone calling my name,
"Jasper!"
But my ears were ringing and my vision too far gone to see who had spoken. And then everything was over and I was pushed into the memory I'd tried so desperately to escape.

A/N Aghh I haven't written anything in soooo long!
This idea just kinda popped into my head and I wanted to get it down. It's not that good but at least I tried.
I'm thinking of just writing little snippets of stories now and then, whenever I have inspiration, so as to get back my motivation for writing. Let me know what you think of this one and whether I should explore this story more or what you want me to write my next one on.
