Chapter 4 : In his arms

Here is Chapter 4!

as always , her outfit is above but minus the hat , the plant ( I don't know why there is a plant there) and the son glasses

I wake up at 6:30 in the morning and I know its early and all, but I like to arrive at BHHS earlier than anybody else but really. I hate waking up early.

I get up and go into my bathroom and take a quick shower, then get dressed and go downstairs "morning, Rae" Lydia greets me with a cup of coffee in her hand "hey Lyds , why are you up already? , you already finished high school"  I ask her with confusion lacing my voice

"I know but I want to make sure I'm awake incase something happens again, like that wolf at the lacrosse field" she says. Oh yeah.  The wolf at the Lacrosse field before the first day started (yesterday) and Scott also says spiders crawled out of its eyes. that's gross. "yeah that was rather odd and did Malia go to check it out?" I asked her, taking a sip from my coffee "no, she said Liam's got everything covered" she says, and I chuckled at that. way to go Malia. "well I'm gonna go now and see if I can talk to the new guidance counselor and change my schedule a bit, it's getting annoying to have the same classes every year" I say to her and get ready to leave

"I heard about the new Counselor, Tamora Monroe" Lydia says and I nod my head "yep , that's her.. well I'm off now" I said to her and turn to leave out the door "see you later!" I shout to her before shutting the door. I took my car to school and soon school came into view. I park my car , open the door , shutting it and walking into the school where I can see almost nobody considering its only 7:10 am and school starts 7:30 am so I I have time.

I walk to find the guidance office and about 5 minutes later, I found it with a sign that says, "open to talk". classic. But before  I knock , I throw my hair in a high ponytail so it wouldn't be in the way and then I knock  on the door and a few seconds later , I hear someone say " come in" so I open the door where I see a women with dark skin and curly dark hair " hello , you must be Raelynn Martin" she greets me . how does she know my name? "yes, I am, and you must be Ms. Monroe" I say to her with a steady voice "that's me. Now what did you want to talk about?" she asks me and motions for me to sit down in the chair opposite from her

I sat down in the chair and answered her question "I just wanted to change my schedule a bit like just take a different class so I can try something new" I tell her my idea " I see , so which class is it that you want to swap to" Monroe asks me and I say to her " I was thinking of taking Spanish since I have been taking French for a long time now and at some point , I want to visit Valencia which means it would be helpful to know the language" I tell her in detail and she nods her head " well then I will swap your language class to Spanish" she says and writes something on a piece paper but after that she looks up at me again " is there anything else you want to talk about , anything that bothers you?" she asks me with concern filled in her eyes

I shake my head in a no kind of way "are you sure? , I heard you were there when the animal attack happened in the library" she says to me and my hand instinctively goes to my right arm where the beast left its mark on me and left me with a permanent scar ( claw marks that run down my arm ) " yeah  that was a bad time for me but I'm fine now , I'm not one to dwell on the past" I tell reassuringly and she nods her head in response " ok but I'm open to talk if you need it" Monroe says to me and I give her a small smile in return and then I get up to leave " bye Ms. Monroe" is all I before I step out of her office and close the door only to bump into someone and that someone is Nolan. way to go Rae, you bumped into him again. I scold myself silently before talking to him "oh my god, I'm sorry"

" no ,no its ok , I didn't really pay attention to the door" he says to me , chuckling nervously " but , um , are you ok?" he asks me , I give him a nod and a smile " well I heard you were there when that thing attacked the library , mustn't have been fun for you" he tells me with empathy in eyes and my smile fades and shiver runs down my arm as I remember the pain I was in . I let out a shaky breath and he notices this "hey, I'm sorry I didn't mean to awake that memory" Nolan tells me in a gentle voice and nod then the next I do surprises me...

I jumped onto him and wrapped my arms around his neck and put my head on his shoulder. He was surprised at first, but he eventually wrapped his arms around me, trapping me in his arms, the arms where I felt safe and warm and this is something that I never feel when I hug someone so its really nice. I can feel myself calming down and breathing becoming even once more. I pulled away from him but he keep a loose arm around my waist , which didn't mind ,  "I'm sorry , I don't know what came over me" I said to him while my cheeks were flushed with embarrassment and I looked down onto the floor. He lifted up my chin with his fingers, so I was looking at

"it's alright, I could tell you needed that and to be honest... so did I" he says that to me in whisper/gentle voice while I was staring into his deep blue eyes but then I felt my eyes travel to his lips. he sees my action and surprisingly does the same, he tightens his arm around waist and pulls me a little closer to him and his body. My heart starts beating faster as pulled me closer but then bell decided to deceive us and rings its bell ( A/N – I'm gonna say there are two bells .  the first one is the warning bell meaning you have 5 minutes to get to class and the second bell meaning class started) .thanks for that , you stupid bell . I step away from him and he does the same so there is some distance between. I tell him good luck in his meeting and then I turned around and walked to my class. I CANT believe that just happened! but why did it happen? does he feel the same?

I started this chapter today and published it today , thats a first. Anyway , I'm gonna start working on chapter 5 now so enjoy the wait ( kidding, no one enjoys waiting unless u do )
