I laid down as Mum left the room. Yeah, I still get tucked in. Gotta Problem? Nope? Didn’t think so. I drew out a plan to escape and I was going to stick to it. After I heard Mum’s bedroom door close I got up and put on my shirt. I moved all the papers on my desk and picked up the plan. I put on my socks and snuck to the front room. My sneakers were sitting on the rocking chair just as I’d planned. I put them on quickly and went back to my room. Time to write them a little note on why I’m gone.
