(A/N: Well well well after a long hiatus here I am. I honestly abandoned this story along with my others. But here we are back at it again! After logging in, I saw all the love I got and I just felt awful for leaving you guys in the dark. Here's a short chapter update.

Enjoy it! Uwah.....Sorry for grammar errors, university finals are such a pain and I just wanted to get something out there. )

As they were rolling the stretcher to the ambulance Ichimatsu started opening his eyes recalling the events that just happened

I hear voices... they sound panicked. Ah... my body feels numb, is that a siren? It's so distant....ha.. Maybe it's my time to go... Gah.. my job, I failed. I'm such a failure I can never do anything right. What was his name again? Karamatsu...? Right.... Karamatsu, I think he helped me. So pathetic a human helped me.

Ichimatsu's consciousness drifted off.

"We're losing him, we need to hurry up stat!" They began to run.

Ichimatsu started turning pale, even his fingertips were blue and he was cold to the touch.

Ichimatsu's hair swayed with the wind as he was moved with the stretcher. The cold breeze gave off a more grave atmosphere that made Karamatsu feel uneasy.

"Sister...." Karamatsu looked at the sister with tearful worried eyes.

The sister looked at Karamatsu with such understanding eyes, and nodded her head up and down as if to agree in silence. Karamatsu called out and asked if he could get on. He then proceeded to get on the ambulance and just stared at the almost lifeless body. He bit his lip causing him to tear up. He could no longer gaze at him, he cursed at himself for being so helpless.

                                                                    ****

The doors shut, and the EMS staff got to work quickly, as one got a ventilator out and placed the piece that covers Ichimatsu's mouth and nose so he will be able to breathe. The others started to analyze the wound. The staff looked completely confused as they could not comprehend how Ichimatsu had not died yet. A wound of this size should've made anyone die from blood loss and shock. They just applied pressure on the wound. Karamatsu managed to see Ichimatsu's face twist in agony even though he was no longer opening his eyes.

His furrowed eyebrows, eyes closed shut, tears starting to form....The expressions were the only thing that let Karamatsu know that Ichimatsu was still alive.

After a few minutes the ambulance arrived at the hospital, and again the staff were moving as if it were a smooth dance. They rushed out with the stretcher, Karamatsu could only follow slowly.

"We have a patient, age unknown, name unknown, race unknown, parents unknown, weight unknown, blood type unknown." One of the staff said.

"A John-doe" another said.

"Get him to the OR, Stat!"

In a few seconds the hospitals PA came on,

"Code Blue, anesthetist, trauma surgeons, and available nurses please report to OR 3. I repeat Code Blue."

Karamatsu looked around, lost, and a sense of depression overcame him. A nurse turned to look at Karamatsu.

"Excuse me, young boy." Karamatsu turned his attention to the nurse.

"Your friend will be okay, he's in great hands do not worry."

Karamatsu felt tears forming in his eyes, but he bit his lip to keep them from falling. He sat in the waiting room, that felt like ages.

The only thing I could do is pray. How did it go again...? If only sister Mary were here to guide me.

Lord who art in thy heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Hmmm...... I forgot but amen! The point is my lord, please save this person even though I just met him. I want him to live please lord.....

"....please" Karamastu's voice hitched.

If you save him lord, I will forever be in your debt. I will promise to become one with you and a priest.

After his prayer, he fell asleep waiting for any updates.
