Jo's POV

  I'm walking into the house, my mom going through the back because of where she's parking the car. "Hero?!" I yell, wondering where he is. "Babe where are you?!" I yell again but no answer. I sigh, did he leave? I mean that would just make me feel terrible.

  I put some of the bags down, they're full of things the dress place said I needed. Whatever, it's fine. If he did leave he'll be back. I go to the kitchen, looking for a drink when I find a note.

-hi beautiful, I really hope this is the first note you find. Go up to our room and you'll find the second note❤️-

  I chuckle, so he is here, somewhere. I wonder if my parents know about this. I smile more, taking the bags and bringing them up to our room. I frown when I don't see him, but alas, I put the bags in the depths of the closet and find the next note on our bed with one of my pink dresses under it.

-hello again baby, I hope you like this dress. I haven't seen you in it yet and I thought you'd look extra beautiful in it❤️ the next note is with your shoes!-

  I chuckle, shaking my head. I carefully put the dress on so I don't rip it and I sip it up in the mirror. I quickly go into the bathroom to fix my soft curls in my hair and smile at my reflection. I decide to go an extra step and put on a dark pink lipstick, it looks nice with the outfit. Once I'm done I go to where I keep all my heels to find he next note.

-and we meet again! I'm sure you already look amazing, but I want you to pick out a pair of heels, and then follow the path coming from the stairs. You'll understand when you go down❤️-

  I smile more, taking out a pair of classic nude heels and slip them on. I make my way downstairs and smile at what I see. A bunch of rose petals following from the staircase. I hold my dress as I walk, following the path until I make it to my back yard. A little gazebo is set up for us with a table right in the middle. Not to mention Hero standing right there.

  The tears start flowing down my face and I wipe them, smiling. "Hi," I smile, not moving from my spot on the last step of the porch. Hero chuckles, coming towards me.

  "Hi beautiful," he smiles and holds his hand out for me. I gladly take it and he leads me down the last step and to the table. I don't let him let go of my hand and I pull him closer. He's actually in a suit and tie for once, I didn't even think he knew how to tie a tie.

  "You got all dressed up just for me?" I smile more, as more tears fall. He captures them with his thumb and I go on my toes, kissing him. Even with heels on he's too tall for me.

  He chuckles and kisses me again, lingering a bit. "For you, I'd do anything." He smiles and then leads me to the table. He pulls the chair out for me and I obviously thank him.

  Meals are brought to us, and we eat while talking, and always laughing. "I'm just happy this dress isn't too tight." I laugh and he frowns in confusion, but then remembers why. "Did you forget I was pregnant?" I laugh more, holding a napkin in front of my mouth as he nods yes. "Hero!" I yell and throw the napkin at him laughing more.

  "You just don't look it, I forget sometimes." He smiles and looks down at his food. He's nervous.

Why the fuck is he nervous?

  I nod and our plates are taken from us, soon to be replaced with dessert. I go to eat the piece of cake, only to drop my fork and cover my mouth.

  Is what the plate reads in chocolate. Oh my god is he really doing this. All of a sudden I see him pull something out of his pocket and tears fall free from my eyes.

  "Jo, I know this is the ideal way I wanted to do this, but I thought if were gonna get married I might as well ask you first." He chuckles and I smile. "Ever since I met you, I've always see some spark in you. Honestly, I fell in love with it very quickly. You were always happy, and always wanting to do things with me and I couldn't of asked for a better friend. You've been the light of my life since the night that I met you. Even when I purposely tried to shut you out, you wouldn't let me and made sure I was okay. You've always been my first pick. I know you might've not been my first kiss, or first time, but you were in fact my first love. And I hope you will be my last. So Josephine Langford, will you be my wife?" He pulls the ring out, and it's perfect.

The band is small, and so is the diamond. There's small diamond on part of the band. It's so perfect, it's so me. I cover my mouth to keep the sob from escaping from me. I get in my knees, nodding. "Yes, yes obviously. I love you so much." I say and he puts the ring on me before I wrap my arms around him, kissing me.

"I love you so much too baby." I smile and nod when he says that. I kiss him again.

"So this is what you were doing today." I giggle more and he nods. "How'd you know that I'd love this ring so much?" I smile and he kisses my neck softly.

"I saw it and I knew you'd love how simple it is, yet so fancy." I nod giggling. "Now let's take some pictures, okay baby girl?" He asks and I nod.

We get up and go by he water. The sun has just started setting. After we finish a bunch of them, we look at them.

"That ones my favorite," I smile more, "well paired with the next one." I laugh and nods kissing my cheek. In the first picture, I'm kissing his cheek with my ring hand on this other cheek. The next one is his kiss stained cheek, both of us holding our hands up like 'Opps!' With us both smiling.

"Can we get those two framed?" I ask smiling more and he nods.

"Whatever you want beautiful," he agrees, and then I get an idea.

"Ooo maybe we can hang those two up, and then do a matching set on our wedding day when we're all dressed up again and it'll be like wedding and engagement." I giggle more and he kisses me.

"You're adorable you know?" He asks and I nod.

"Well you're constantly tell me so..." I laugh more before he kisses me again. "I love you," I whisper when we part.

"I love you more, now let's go inside and practice our wedding night festivities." He says in a low, seductive voice.

I quickly nod and we both practically run into the house and up to our room.

Omg this parttttt🥺🥺🥺 it literally hit my heart it's so adorable. I purposely didn't add the smut Bc I wanted them to have more of a romantic part which I think we need once in awhile.
