Lost souls

Spirits den

I went and sat down on my bed. My room was pitch black. It's always black. I took all light out, except for a few candles. That way me and the spirits had a quit place to talk.

"Tina light the candles" I said. Tina loves lighting candles. The little candles are placed around the room. Tina smiled as she used her spirit powers to light the candles. Light flashed on the candles. The little lights had a nice glow in the room.

"Ok you can come out now" I said. I usually tell the spirits that they can go around the house, but when mom makes me mad they stay with me.

"Are you ok" said heather. Heather is a spirit from the 18th century. She had long brown hair. She tells me she used to have blue eyes. "Just mad" I shouted. "Shut up cray cray" screamed Linda.

Some of the spirits left. They went to the spirits den. It's where some spirits go to help new ones. Tina can never go. I alway wondered why she couldn't go. She never told me why, but she has me. Granny taught me how to see into the spirits den.

I looked at a candle. I saw thousands of spirits surrounding a new one. I saw her. To my surprise she had normal eyes, Pale skin, brown hair , and no white glow. Every spirit has a white glow, but not this one. Everyone tried to touch her. She punched them away.

"Get away from me" she yelled. Everyone backed up. "its okay sweetie" said granny. The girl was like an old television set. Fading and reappearing. It was hurting my head. I had to come back.

The image of her in the spirits den kept repeating in my mind.
