Let Spring Breake Begin

Kaminari POV

     The next day I woke up at basically the crack of dawn, and headed to Kyoka's house.

     When we got in the house I was enthusiastically greeted, by a man with messy long blond hair, black eyes, and a very intense expression. I could only guess he was her dad.

     Her mom was a bit more reserved, but by no means shy. She looked a lot like Kyoka, if she had glasses. Another difference was a peace of hair pulled back in a pin.

     Kyoka and I had gotten there a little earlier than expected, and Mrs. Jiro still had to finish packing the car.

     Kyoka, was trying to take me upstairs, so her dad 'wouldn't embarrass her', when we heard Mr. Jiro say, "Hay Kaminari, Kyoka told me you play guitar. I could show you a few things if you want."

     I didn't necessary want guitar tips, but I did want to get to know Mr. Jiro. So I happy excepted, much to Kyoka's dismay.

     As we followed Mr. Jiro or Kyokoto as he wanted me to call him, to the music room, I herd Kyoka muttering something I couldn't hear. But 'Dinky' was one thing I did happen to hear.

     We played around with the guitars in the music room, till Mrs. Jiro come in to tell us it was time to go.

     In the car I got to know Kyokoto, and Mrs. Jiro a little better, and I couldn't help but become bros with Kyokoto. He was just so fun to be around, and even Kyoka laughed at some of his dad jokes.

     Wen we finally got to the cabin almost three hours later, it was only noon. We still had lots to unpack, and get ready, but by the time that was done, it was still only 1:30.

     It was pretty hot out, so Kyoka and I decided to go swimming. We went in the water for a bit, but we were both pretty tiered from walking up so early.

     Looking around at the cabin, you could tell it was extremely nice. Not only was it extremely high quality, but the location was amazing.

     It was right next to a lake, and had plenty of hiking trails.

     I couldn't help but think about telling Kyoka about my love for her on one of the trails or something. Ever since the meter shower there was never really a good time to tell her. Now, there were probably going to be plenty of opportunities.

     I swallowed a lump in my throat. I couldn't help but feel a little nervous, after all we were talking about a love confession.

     After a few minutes we were called in for dinner, and all thoughts of nervousness and love confessions were wiped from my train of thought.

     Dinner was delicious. We had a hot pot, and I gotta say, it was way better than any my mom had made. Evan though I had a slight bias, since I liked Kyoka's parents so much.

     After dinner we all winded down with some board games. And lots of chips. And lots of dad jokes, even a few from Kyoka (which were all making fun of me).

    "Dinky, can you charge my phone?" Kyoka asked, handing me the other end of her phone cord. "No problem, Kyo." I said beginning to suck on the end. "You can charge phones in your mouth?" Mrs. Jiro asked looking extremely confused.

     "It's one of the best things about having an electric type quirk." I said through a mouth full of charging cord. "I bet you get sick of all charging everyone's phones though?" Kyokoto said. I just shrugged at the comment and said. "At least Bakugou won't kill me if he can use me."

     "He's the one who one the sports festival." Kyoka added. Both her parents just nodded as if that was enough expiation, and we got back to the game.

     Soon enough it was almost midnight, so we all decided to go to bed. Kyoka and I shared a room with two twin sized beds, and Kyokoto and Mrs Jiro one with a king sized bed.

     Kyoka and I moved the beds in our room to be right next to each other, so it was basically one big bed. We wanted to cuddle after all.

     I slept really soundly next to Kyoka, and the next day when I woke, I had never felt so well rested.

     "Hay sleepyhead," was the first thing I herd wen I woke up that morning. "Mornin Kyo." I said snuggling in to her. "Dinky, we gotta get up now." She said planting a kiss on the top of my head. "Nooooo I wanna cuddle with you a little longer." I Said looking up at her with my best puppy eyes. She just sighed and nodded.

     We sat there talking about random stuff, her doing most of the talking since I was too sleepy. "So how's Dr Twinkie?" She asked brushing a lock of hair behind my ear. "I don't know, he's still at my house. I can call my parents and ask if you want." "It's fine. I'm sure he's happy."

     After a few minutes of that, we finally got out of of bed. Wen we got down stairs, we were greeted with the delicious sent of bacon and eggs.

     After breakfast, Kyoka and I each went to one of the two showers in the cabin, and took a shower.

     When I got back to the mane room, Kyoka still wasn't there. I occupied myself with my phone, till I heard her walking into the room.

     "So whatcha wanna do?" I asked, looking up at her. "We could go hiking, kayaking, we could go swimming, but we just did that." She said sitting next to me. 

     "You have kayaks?" "Yup you wanna kayak then?" I nodded before she added, "should we change into swimsuits then?" "No, then you'll tip me over." I said getting up and grabbing her hand.

     We ended up going down the cost of the lake. It was super relaxing, and relaxing was just what I was doing when Kyoka tapped my shoulder. "Dinky look!" She whisper shouted.

     "Wold you stop calling me Dinky?" I said knowing full well that I loved the nickname, cuz it always came from her.

       "No, but that's not the point." She said pointing at some of the bushes in front of us. I followed her finger, and found myself looking at six baby ducks and there mother.

     "There so cute!" I exclaimed grabbing my phone and snapping a picture (with the flash off of course). Then I thought of something really cheesy to say, so I know I had to say it. "There almost as cute as you."

     Kyoka made a face like she was discussed at the comment, but her blush said otherwise. "Shut up before you scare them away with your stupid personality." I just laughed at the comment, and we began to keep going.

     When we got back Kyoka and I spent the rest of the day talking and such. She seemed particularly relieved she said, "Finally! Uraraka told Tsu who her crush is, and now we can drop the subject forever."

     "Who is it?" I asked turning my phone off to give her my full attention. "Midoriya." I nodded and said, "No surprise there." "Yup, now everyone can talk about something people care about." She said with clear relief in her vice.

     "Well you're talking about it right now, so you've gotta care a little." As soon as I said that I knew I was dead, but thankfully Mrs Jiro chose then to call us for dinner.
