A month has passed since the doctor duo came back from the states. Haneul wanted to spend time with them but her work said a big fat no to her face.

Cases piled up like clothes and became a never ending thing. Having more or less 5 trials a day made her beyond exhausted. She couldn't go home properly and had to stay in her office. Occasionally, the girls would drop by and give her a hug or two and talk a bit. Even San dropped by a few times unannounced.

One time, it was a Wednesday. Apparently, Jaeseon had called him over for something. Haneul had fallen asleep on her desk while working all night long. She woke up with a jolt when San tugged on her shirt softly and called her name.

She was taken aback and startled by his sudden presence. Also embarrassed. She didn't want anyone to see her in that state- bare face, chapped lips, messy and unwashed hair, papers all over the room. San tried to prevent a laugh from escaping his mouth. But her reaction was just so adorable in his eyes, he couldn't stop himself. He just wanted to pinch her cheeks and say 'it's okay'.

Even though he did say Jaeseon called him over, San would actually come by without any reason. Just to see Haneul.

Today's Sunday and after a long time, Haneul is finally free. So the girls decided to have a laid back skincare day. Both fun and relaxing. And of course, the location had to be Haneul's cozy rooftop house. Like Byeol, Bom and Haru also grew fond of the mentioned place.

The duo had already come over and was helping Haneul make the DIY face masks. But Byeol was running late.

"What's taking her so long?" Haru muttered under breath as she took out the sheet masks from her bag. Haneul had told her to pick up from the store. Just when they were getting fed up, the door to Haneul's house clicked open and revealed a panting Byeol.

"You're late," Bom said as she shifted her eyes to ingredients in the mixing bowl.

A sheepish smile grew on Byeol's face as she untied her shoelaces. "Super sorry guys. I had to stop by the publishing company real quick. Wooyoung called me for the book's cover." Then proceeded to tell them how amazing the cover came out to be.

Everyone only said 'ah' and went back to making the masks. Their lack of reaction made Byeol throw a tantrum but it only made the others giggle.

Bom squirmed the entire time saying that it tickled whenever Haneul touched her face to apply the mask. It was war but at the end, the mask was successfully applied.

They had fun, playing UNO all day long and just loosening up, occasionally gossiping about nothing in particular. Haru and Byeol ordered dresses from online for the reunion. Even if it was for a day, it was enough to motivate them. Healing days like these are a necessity when you have a busy life. And they promised to have one at least a month if not every week.

7:31 pm. Haneul glanced at the ticking watch on her wrist. It was time to go home and she couldn't be more relieved. She heaved a big sigh, took her things and exited the office after saying goodbye to her colleagues.

She had no plans whatsoever and just wanted to crash for the day. She walked up to the main street and waited with a group of people as the traffic light was red, cars zooming from one side to another.

With her hands buried in the pockets of her blazer, she turned her head to her sides, examining the area. While scanning, she looked ahead and saw a figure waving a hand at her from the opposite side of the street.

It was San, waving at her with a massive grin on his face. He was wearing an all-black suit looking oh so fine, his hair swept back neatly. He probably was coming back from the university, Haneul assumed from his attire.

Her lips also curled upwards seeing her friend. He gestured his hands and told her to come over to this side as he waited. Haneul nodded and looked up to see when the light will turn green.

San had this calming, gentle aura about him that was very welcoming. It was one of the reasons why Haneul could be so easy and comfortable around him. She could be herself without any reluctance.

The lights turned yellow and then finally green, signaling the people to cross the street. San waited as he watched Haneul come over to this side of the road.

"Hey San. What are you doing here?" Haneul asked. San was still grinning like a little boy. He was really happy to have bumped into her like this. He wanted more of these coincidences to happen.

"I was actually on my way home but I saw you on the other side. So I decided to wait." San said. "Let's walk together. Since we're going the same way."

San knew where Haneul lived because previously he went to Byeol's house to drop by some papers that Wooyoung was supposed to. You see, San and Wooyoung were best friends since middle school. And now they live together, not far from where Byeol and Haneul lived. When he went there to drop the papers, Haneul was at Byeol's place. Both of them were equally surprised. They lived in the same neighborhood but never once saw each other.

"Sure let's do that. I was going to take the bus. But I suppose the walk would give me some relief from the stress." Haneul said as she stretched her arms. "I don't like walking alone so I tend to ride the bus often. But since you're here, we can walk." Haneul chuckled softly. "Yes, I'm lazy." She added. A chuckle also left San's lips.

They were walking for almost 10 minutes now. And it seemed like it's going to rain. Muffled rumbling and thundering could be heard from the distance.
