DemonXHuman Prologue

Deep, deep underground an angel and the devil himself had two children. The first child that became part of this world was a pure demon, Azoth, and the other second born child was a hybrid between the angel and demon, Jay. The smallest of the two, Jay, was destined to become the next ruler of the underworld, but the other child, Azoth, was foretold to be the most powerful, pure demon to ever be in existence. Both children continued to grow older and older, not knowing what they were destined to become. As they grew, they trained to become strong demons, but once they hit the age of 10 they had to go on their first missions separately. As the pure demon of the two children Azoth finished the mission in a quick amount of time with no problems. As Azoth continued to finish the missions Jay could not finish the first one, his heart was too pure to kill an innocent life. As this continued to happen, Jay's father got tired of him failing the first mission. His father decided to give him 24 hours to finish this mission or he will face horrible consequences. Jay continued over and over again but he couldn't make himself take away a life from an animal that seemed to not be harmful in any way. Soon enough the 24 hours was up, and his father called him into the front room of the castle they lived in. Jay had no idea what he was getting into. For a while Jay and his father were staring at each other, Jay not knowing what would come next. His father asked "So, how is the mission going right now." Jay responds with "I have not yet been able to take the life of this animal, but how could I, it has done no wrong why should it die!" Jay's father gives a disappointed face that would soon turn into anger. His father then responds to Jay with "Why shouldn't it die, we are demons and devils, we are meant to kill and take lives, even if they are pure and have no wrong!" Jay looks unhappy and angry now, "Well what if i don't want to be a demon then, I shouldne be forced to kill all of these pure things like you absolute brutes!" Jay's father had finally lost his temper and states, "Well sense it seems you can't become one your just a waste of space!" After that in a split second jays father tears his arm off with a gruesome rip and crush. Jay lets out a horrible and outrageous scream! Then without a second thought he states, "You are a disappointment to this family!" and banishes him off to the mortal realm known as the human world. Jay was transported into a quiet and dark alleyway where his arm continued to bleed quickly. Jay thought this is where his life would finally end. As his eyes slowly shut in the lonely dark alleyway, he saw a shadowy figure in front of his lifeless body. Jay blacked out and during what felt like a few seconds he was carried into an unknown place. After Jay woke up he looked around with confused eyes, he looked at his arm seeing that his arm socket had been wrapped up with bloody bandages. He looked down and realized that he was in a bed within a dark candle lit room. With all the power he had left he tried to get out of bed and escape this dark room, but he failed to get up. A few minutes passed with Jay continuously failing to escape the dark candle lit room, until he faintly saw a shadow from a door. He started to panic as the shadow got closer and closer, then the door slowly creaked open. Jay attempts to call for help but is answered by no one, by then the shadow that he saw was completely in the room right beside his bed. Jay made a quick decision and tried to act like he was still unconscious, but the man said in a quiet voice "I know you're awake." Jay then broke out in a sweat and decided to still act unconscious. The man then said quietly, "Do you mind telling me your name?" Jay decided to give up his faking and finally said faintly, "Jay." The man responds with, "Do you have a last name?" Then jay responds with, "No, I have been exiled from my family." The man then continues to ask him to open his eyes with a polite voice. Jay follows his direction and sees a kind hearted doctor with glasses and a lab coat on. He sits there in awe and stares at the doctor for a short time. After a few more seconds the man says, "Hi Jay, my name is Dr.Kazukami and i found you laying in a dark alleyway with horrible injuries, So i decided to help you get better." As the doctor looks at Jay with a kind hearted smile, a tear falls from Jay's eyes. The doctor quickly asks, "Why are you crying, are you in pain." Jay shakes his head no while tears continuously fall from his face. Then the doctor says, "Man, for a kid you've been through a whole lot haven't ya." Jay shakes his head yes, but once he attempts to wipe his tears out of his face he realizes that his arm is gone. He looks at his bandage wrapped arm in confusion, until he remembers what happened to him. He once again tries to get up and finally makes it, sitting up straight in his bed. He then looks down with a disappointed face, and he faintly says, "I have disappointed my father, I am truly just a big disappointment." The doctor looks at Jay with a saddened face and states, "You could stay with me for a while, that is if you want though." Jay looks up with an expression of hope and sadness. He then takes a while to respond but soon says, "Sure, it's not like I can go back there anyway." The doctor realizes his sadness, then finally remembers something. He says, "Hey kiddo, I have a surprise for you, it should lift your spirits a bit!" Jay in a disappointed and sad voice says, "Okay." The doctor tells him to wait there while he gets the surprise. Jay sits on his bed thinking about what he did to deserve all this unfair treatment. The doctor runs back downstairs and brings a heavy box with him. He sits the box down on a table and sighs in relief he didnt drop it. Then the doctor states, "Okay, here it is!" He opens the box to show Jay a state of the art black metal bionic arm! Jay's eyes appear to be wide open with confusion and excitement, so he asks, "Is that really for me?" The doctor shakes his head in a yes motion and says, "I spent the last 2 months preparing it while you were asleep!" At that moment Jay felt a bit special, but still confused why he was awarded with this extreme amount of kindness from Dr.Kazukami. Jay looks at the arm, his face changing from a depressed frown to one of the biggest smiles on earth. Then Jay states, "Why would you give me such kindness, aren't I just some kid you found on the streets." Then Dr.Kazukami says, "Because you don't deserve the harsh treatment that has been done unto you, and the fact that you could still smile during that moment shows that you have a giant heart. You deserve a second chance at having your arm back." Jay looks up to Dr.Kazukami from his bed, then looks back at the arm in excitement. Jay then states, "Thank you" as more tears form from his eyes. Dr.Kazukami looks at Jay with an honest smile and states, "Hey, you excited to try it on for size?" Jay looks at him and nods his head yes very energetically with more tears of happiness in his eyes. At this point Jay and Dr.Kazukami both realized how late it was and decided to call it a day. Right before Dr.Kazukami decided to go back up the stairs he said, "Hey, you should get some sleep, tomorrow will be the day I replace your arm." Jay once again says thank you to Dr.Kazukami with the tears continuing down his smiling face. Dr.Kazukami tells him "No problem and have a good rest, you've been through a lot today" then walks upstairs to get some rest. A few minutes after Dr.Kazukami walked up stairs Jay finally decides to get some rest with his tears slowing down as he lays in his bed.
