Ma: because we need to pack so we can go to..New Jersey (with a smile on her face)
Y/n: ma! Stop your lying!! Mamiiii I'm gonna cry are you serious it's been soo long
Dess: omggg y/n!!! We finally going back I can't believe it ik how much you loved it there and in so happy for youu!
Ma: well if y'all don't get packed youcan't go so goo get packed
Y/n: omg mammiiii I love you , pa I love you tooo I can't believe you guys did this
Dess: thank you so muchhh🥺 i love youu
Ma: I love you to but hurry
Pa: I love you babies
We we're sooo excited and nervous to go so I quickly packed up my clothes, and my makeup and some other important things i took a nice shower and got ready and changed because i was going to sleep anyways. I haven't talked to all my friends there in 3 years we all kind of faded even tho we talked for 3 years after I moved but after it was too much we got different friends and we were also focused on school. Would they recognize me ? I look super different then I did a couple years ago my hair is longer and I got a slimmer waist and a bigger ass then before. I don't have braces anymore I wonder what they look like , do they look differnt? I'm so excited to go back to my childhood home it's crazyyy ahh I missed it.
Pa: okay everybody ready the stuff packed in the car right
Everyone: yea
Pa: alright then let's go
We all got in the car with are suit cases and everything and went straight to the airport there we had like 20 minutes so we ate something really quick and headed right on the plane 14b straight to New Jersey it took us around 12 hours so I slept for the 1st 6 hours and the rest I just watched movies and wrote in my journal
'hey again it's me so today I went to school thinking nothing was gonna happen this vacation but here I am on a plane back to New Jersey I'm excited to go back and visit everything and everyone but I'm nervous bc it's not how it once was before, how am I going to face my bestfriend with no contact in 3 years, we barley spoke after I left it was hard for the both of us we tried speaking it just wasn't the same and one day he just stopped talking to me and I don't know why. I understand that we now have different things going on and we're distracted but a text here and there would have been nice but I don't wanna talk about that I wanna talk about how I'm finally gonna go back in my memories and my home'
I finished writing in my journal and then the plane stopped so we all got up and got are things and headed to the baggage claim. It took like 10-15 mins before we all got are bags and we headed to the car and went straight home it's was around 3:00am when we got to the house and everything looked the same my room was still and nice purple with butterflies all over it from when I was 6 when I was like 10 or 11 I wanted to change it bc I thought it was for babies but honestly it brings me back so I think I'm going to keep it for now I had my old bed still there with clean sheets folded and everything nice and neat the u-haul will be coming in a couple of hours so I'll just have to sleep on my old bed it was dark out so I got comfortable and turned on the led lights I had there and surprisingly after 6 years they still work. Dess did the same she situated herself and we both just kinda looked everywhere and just got all the memories back and just smiled.
Pa: everything good here
Y/n: yea I'm good
Pa: are you okay
Y/n: yea I'm just happy we're back thank you pa
Pa: ofc mija don't stay awake, get some sleep so you have energy in the morning for the u-haul
Y/n: okay goodnight I love you
Pa: I love you too
i tried going to sleep but I was awake for another hour just getting everything through my head I was so excited for tomorrow that I practically forced myself to sleep by drinking tea and taking melatonin and tried to lay still for 20 mins straight and it worked I went straight to sleep
