Catalyn heard the knock on the door and all senses went on high alert. She couldn't deal with this bullshit. She sighed in exasperation and goes to open the door. Standing there was the sexiest boy shed ever seen. His hair was a dark brown and seems wind-blown. He has crystal blue eyes and chiseled features. "Umm... can I help you? " she says trying to think straight.
He smiled. "Hello, is this the residence of Catalyn Martin? "
She nods. "I'm Catalyn. Please come in." She says not sure what else to say. He smiled a crooked smile. "Thank you. "
Susanna sees the boy and frowns. "You're five minutes late Cain. Perhaps one of your brothers would be better suited for this job. " she states as she approached him. He glares. "Sorry to disappoint you but I'm not here for you." She gasped at his rudeness. Catalyn watches them argue trying to sort out what he was doing here. Why did his name sound familiar to her? She would have remembered meeting him before now. Her mother and sister were watching this as well. Meredith looked angry. "Susanna why did you let a halfling here? He isn't like us! " she yelled. Cain growled low and his blue eyes turned gold. "I am not here because of your ambassador, nixie. I am here because it is my duty to protect Catalyn. As it is my right as General over the knights of fae to be in the presence of the princess while she is unprotected I swear upon my sword Azithis to be her loyal servant and bodyguard as long as it pleases her highness. You raised her but you have no true authority. I am a warrior. So no I'm not like you but I am no cowardly child. I am not a commoner. Do not treat me as such." He says in a calm tone of voice.
Catalyn watches her mother back away and smirked. "Cain stop. You are not to harm her. " she orders. His eyes turned back to normal. "Yes my lady."
