Thank you for 1k reads!! Liking the style, storyline? Anything I can change?

Somehow, you had managed to get away without a scratch at lunch. It seemed finally, finally, people could leave you alone, see the errors in their treatment of others. Especially... them.

So, you sat, getting out your favourite sandwich, bringing it to your mouth when—

Bang!

You flinched at the suddenness of a tray slamming down beside you.

You careful peaked out of the corner of your eye, hoping it wasn't who you thought it was.

No, it was.

Charlie. Though, instead of his usual malice, a look of surprise, many a glint of respect in his eyes. He squinted, in a daze, unlike the dumb boy.

"Uh... Charlie, I think you've got the wrong table. Your friends are that way."

Pointing at them was forbidden, so you emphasised the fact they were sitting farrr away from you.

"You gave me the wrong paper."

Your heart sank. What?

"Haha.. Charlie, I'm telling you I tried my hardest on that homework so—"

You decided to shut up. The boy seemed within a whirl of dumbfounded fury.

"Am I C.G?"

You were going to die. You were going to be discovered and you were gonna die.

"W-well, if you mean your initials then yes... other wise I have no clue what you're taking about."

"I-I have your paper Y/N."

You scrabbled through your bag, pulling out the worn essay you had written for Charlie.

And sure enough, his name, not yours, was present on the sheet.

Well fuck me.

"D-di-did you read mine?"

Charlie furrowed his brows. "No." Then he proceeded to run a hand through his hair, scratching it as if he hoped to achieve some answer. "Your name was on it. I didn't want the teacher to confuse your shitty work with mine."

Ahem bitch I wrote your paper.

"Sure."

They traded, and Charlie left without a word.

You, on the other hand, could jump up and down with sheer, pure, happiness! Of course Charlie was too dumb to even attempt to read her paper—
If he even knew what it meant!

You internally danced, promising yourself some F/F as a reward for your genius.

Your secret was safe. No one would ever find out.

In the shadows, a lone figure watched the overjoyed you. He smirked. If only you knew how close he was to pinpointing everything on you. His friend approached, sitting on the opposite side.

"What's Y/N so happy about?" He inquired.

"Who cares? That person's a little shit." Interrupted Freddy. Though Wade would usually join the fun, today he remained silent, obviously thinking.

"Oh... it was something real dumb. When she did my homework, she handed me hers instead of mine."

Noel looked smugly amused. "What? The paper inspired by The Journal?"

Charlie nodded, keeping a confused aura.

"You read it." It wasn't a question.

Charlie leaned in close, as the cheerleader's behind them were desperate to hear what was being said.

"Of course I did. Noel, you won't believe what I saw."
