There's a lot to tell you about my life and growing up, but this past year was the most interesting
It was about 7:00am, it was quiet as the sun shines through the curtains hanging on my window in my bedroom. My mother walked in and said "Mimi, get up it's your first day of School", in a calm soothing voice. I threw my covers aside and rolled out of bed stood up and walked to the restroom to look at myself in the mirror. I then walked to my bedroom and put on a cute blue blouse that shows my caramel complexion along with some skinny tight black jeans with a pair of silver sandals. I straightened my naturally curly hair which is a little past shoulder length bone straight and curled the ends of my hair. Finally I put on eyeliner and lipgloss and I was ready to go. I walked out into the dining room area as my mom took pictures of my younger siblings who are 6 and 9, Marc is 6 Mike is 9. She then told me to get in the pictures so I stood next to my brothers and smiled.
After we took the pictures we all gathered in my moms van and we were all on our way to school. About 10 minutes later we arrived at Northside High School, as I looked out my window I saw a lot of familiar faces as well as unfamiliar faces.
I leaned over to give my mother a hug gave her a kiss on the cheek grabbed my backpack and told my little brothers Bye, they then replied "Bye sissy". I closed the door and stepped on the sidewalk took a deep breath and continued to walk forward, I was eager to see who my teachers were this year. Did I have Ms. Marcia again? I've had for for the past two years in a row for first period.
I walked towards the band shell, there were people crowded around grabbing there schedules. I stood in line to get my schedule when someone screamed my name "MIMI", as I turned around my friend NahNah hugged me tightly, I wrapped my arms around her and told her how much I missed her. We then got in line together to get our schedules, five minutes later we got our schedules. I unfolded my schedule and read my schedule to NahNah 1st-Marcia(Math) 2nd-Blayne(College Math) 3rd-Office Aide 4th-Rob(English) 5th-Ms G(Reading) 6th-Carrie(Vocals) 7th-Ms.G(Plato). NahNah looked at me and said "Well atleast we have Reading class together", I looked at her giggled and said "Yeah true".
I walked away from the bandshell looking for my Best Friend Ti, I couldn't find her anywhere. So I grabbed my iPhone 4s and called her, I said "Where are you", she replied and said "Turn around", I turned around saw Ti and gave her the biggest hug and said "Hey girl you look so good, how have you been?" "I've been good, I got my schedule, what's yours?" I showed her my schedule as Ti, NahNah and I walked down the hallway.
