chap 2: duplicate

Once your eyes were closed, you felt an arm over your body and turned to it's direction. You saw a sleeping Levi beside you and got so f*cking scared. Levi woke up by all your movements and talking. He had a concerned look on his face. He calmed you down and comforted you then you started explaining your dream. Levi could only reply with "It wasn't a dream, Y/N. All of that did happen and the only reason you can see me is because you died and entered the duplicate world." You couldn't even reply to what Levi just said, your mind was full of questions. Each one you asked Levi and he explained the duplicate world.

"Y/N, the duplicate world is literally a duplicate of where we lived in except for the people who died. Right now we are in the real world as ghosts where we can see everything but can't touch it. Also we aren't seen by the living people. I'll take you to the duplicate world  okay, baby?"
"Uhm okay but answer my questions."
"Of course, baby girl."
"Why'd you leave your sperm?"
"Uhm *embarrassed* it was for you to bear our child."
"I still wanna bear it tho."
"Well you can but here cause when you died, your future died including our child."

You stopped upon hearing this and so did Levi, he held your hand tight and looked at you.

"I'm sorry."
"Hey hey it's okay, it was your time and there's nothing we can do about that."

He wiped away the few tears that escaped your eyes and kissed your forehead continuing to walk forward while holding your hand.

"Y/N, do you still want to bear our child but here?"
"Yeah."
"I'll fulfill that promise to you."

When you heard this he held out his right hand and so did you. You did your promise handshake with a fist bump and a kiss at the end. You missed his soft lips so much. Levi then looked at your hands.

"So I see you found my gifts."
"Yeah."

He took off the engagement ring from your hand and knelt down and recited the exact same words he had written in the letter. You obviously said yes. He put the ring back on then showed you his right hand where he had the promise ring as well as the same wedding ring except with your name engraved on it. "Let's get married here, Y/N." he said, stopping in front of the gate to the duplicate world. "I would love to." you replied as he opened the gate. He brought you to your shared apartment where in the real world you both lived in. He then showed you HQ where you both worked in and you saw all your fallen comrades. Levi said "Our life here isn't going to change except for the fact that I'll be with you forever." he kissed your hand and smiled at you. It was a smile that you missed so much.
