(Jade's POV)

It was a regular Sunday morning at home, i woke up to the alarming buzzing sound coming from my phone. It was only 9AM and I wondered what could be so important. It was my best friend Holly:

AS IF DIVERSITY ARE PERFORMING AT THE METRO TODAY!!!! YOU HAVE TO COME WITH ME!!! - Holly xxx

I was a little annoyed as I'd planned to sleep in, but she had the biggest crush on Ashley Banjo and I knew she'd be gutted missing the show. I begrudgingly agreed to meet her at the metro at 11am, giving us enough time to catch some lunch at McDonald's before the performance. I relunctantly pulled the duvet from the body and dragged myself out of the bed i was clinging on to. I pulled a cream blouse over my tousled purple locks and added a bow tie for accessory. Once I was dressed I grabbed my purse and phone and left the house into the rain falling over the city. I dodged in and out of shops on my way aiming to keep the drizzle from effecting my hair, which I'd neatly folded into a french plait drooping down my right shoulder. Before long i gave up and arrived at the metro with smudged mascara and curls popping out at all directions. My excitable friend bounded across the car park to meet me with a huge embrace. She was grinning from ear to ear and clutched two pink wristbands in her hand.

"What happened to you?" She laughed through her speech as she slapped the wristband on my arm and then held her arm out hinting for me to do the same for her.

"It's me, something bad always has to happen right?" I smiled as I grabbed her hand and we headed for a side entrance marked: DIVERSITY WRISTBAND HOLDERS ONLY.

The room was fairly small and painted an intresting shade of green. A stage no bigger than my tiny bedroom.

"Look how intimate this is! Maybe me and Ash will lock eyes and instantly fall in love..." Holly joked, imitating fainting onto me.

"Get up you loser" I giggled pushing my friend from my arms.

We made our way through a pair of recognisable double doors which we knew led into the centre. McDonalds was only a brief walk through the centre and we soon arrived with plenty of time to spare before the concert. Holly ordered first and took her tray upstairs to find us a seat overlooking the shopping centre; they were our favourites. I stepped towards the counter and ordered my usual McChicken Sandwish Meal.

"That'll be £3.89 please" The woman behind the counter waited patiently as I scrambled through my purse. I could feel eyes staring at me and I knew I was taking up a lot of time. My cheeks began to flush the fuscia colour of my hair when I realised I'd forgotten to put an extra few notes in my purse and was just left with the change from the night before, the majority of them - coppers.

"I'm...so sorry I don't think... erm" I stuttered a few words out from my embarrassment. I could see the look of annoyance on the woman's face even from below my fringe.

A hand comfortingly  rubbed my shoulder as a tall man in a snap back stepped forward and handed  the woman a five pound note.

"Keep the change" He smiled to the shop assistant as he picked up my crumpled bag of food and placed it into my hands. His soft thumb slid gently into the gap beneath my chin. He lifted my head up so that I could see the smirk under his hat. I could hear whisperings behind us but I couldn't make out what they were saying.

"My pleasure" He whispered softly into my ear. By now the whisperings were much louder and flashes from camera's were becoming clear in the corner of my eye.

"That's Sam from Diversity!"

"Is that his girlfriend?!"

"Quick get a picture of this!"

I soon realised the kind stranger was in fact Sam from Diversity, according to the teenage girls excitedly chatting behind us. Sam lifted his cap from this eyes and smiled at some of the paparazzi which had arrived; I assume they were there to photograph the performance anyway. By now his hand had moved to my waist and he pulled me in closely as he smiled for the paps before saying

"Could you give me and my girl some privacy for a moment?" The pap's reluctantly turned away and left the restaurant. I saw Holly and a bunch of other girls stood outside looking just as confused as me, it seemed as though they closed down the restaurant due to Sam's celebrity status.

"What do you think you're doing?!" I violently removed his hand from my waist and took a step back to show I wanted nothing from him. "Telling pap's I'm 'your girl'?! I get it... you wanna look like the good guy, fine. Thanks for paying for my food. Now I want nothing else to do with you." I turned my back and made my way for the door when I remembered his hat was still on my head from when he transferred it from his head to mine to pose for the paparazzi. "Oh" I said in a blunt fashion. "I don't want your hat either." I took off the hat and threw it towards him with such force like a dart to a dart board. "Don't even think about taking advantage of any girl like that again. Stuck up celebrities like you are disgusting." I slammed the door behind me and made my way through the crowd of girls, ignoring the questions as if they weren't there. I made eye contact with Holly and she moved away from the crowd, she knew I wanted to leave. "Come on Jade, lets go."

She said calmly through the crowd. Holly didn't mind missing the performance although I felt terrible. I just couldn't stand to face him, treating me like a doll and using me for the press. Holly walked me home for comfort even though I didn't ask her. "You are Sam from Diversity's 'girl'" she read from her phone as a picture and headline of me flashed across her screen on the 'HeatMag' website. "I will NEVER be his 'girl', I don't have time for that sort of arrogance. I snatched her phone from her hands and exited the page. I don't know why I felt so annoyed from today's events, most other girls would've been over the moon... I guess I just know how to have respect for myself since my previous relationship only ended a few weeks back. "Well" Holly slid her arm under mine locking them together.

"Don't jinx it" she giggled, bowing her head to the floor avoiding my death glare that she knew would be waiting for her.
