Chapter 1~ this is just the begining

Harper POV
I'm Harper Lynn an untalented sophomore in high school who has a very talented sister who I hate a lot of the time because she always has her annoying friends over. Anyways today was the opening night for the fall musical. This years musical was newsies I think, I don't really remember I'm just going there to support her or whatever. I've never really listened to any musicals they're not my thing at all but my mom is forcing me to go to the stupid musical with her stupid friends. Noah my brother keeps throwing shit at me and being annoying but at least I won't be alone, Issac my best friend sense I was like 6 was busy with something from his job and Amanda my other best friend was doing god knows what. Suddenly out of nowhere Noah pulled the earbuds out of my ears and said in his annoying voice "we're here." Ugh this dumbass "Noah stop." I said then I rolled my eyes and picked up the earbuds off the car floor.

Noah and me looked more alike then me and my twin sister Rose. Noah and me both had chestnut hair and hazel eyes, while Rose has Rose gold hair very clearly dyed and baby blue eyes. She hated looking like one of the family, she's definitely embarrassed in us.

Now come to think of it I don't even know what role she's playing in in this. While I wasn't paying attention Noah grabbed my arm and dragged me out of the car. "Fuck you" I said once he dragged me out all he said was "mh" then I noticed a group of people looking at me and I noticed one familiar face Manuel. Manuel was on the football team and was about 5'11 and had emerald green eyes, he's a bitch. He bullied me relentlessly but everyone thinks he's just a kind football player but I see through that bullshit. Everyone has a crush on him apparently except me.

Then my mom snapped me out of my train of thought by saying to me and Noah "come on you two your sister is inside waiting" we both said "Ugh" in unison. Mom rolled her eyes at us and walked into our schools auditorium and we followed her in. I could tell my step dad wasn't excited for this either by the blank expression on his face but then again he's always like that. All of us say in the front row and waited for the musical to start.

Midway through the musical a girl with short pitch black hair and russet brown eyes made eye contact with me. We stayed looking at each other for a few seconds but it felt like an eternity. I looked away first blushing a bit. After she stopped looking at me she just kept dancing and singing like nothing happened.

After what felt like forever the musical finally stopped and I get to go home at least that's what I thought until my sister came from behind the stage to tell us that her and her friends are going to Dennys to eat and my mom volunteered to have me and Noah go with her she said "ugh fine but you have to drop them off there" in a annoyed voice tone, my mom happily agreed to do that and forced me and Noah out of the auditorium and back into the car. All I could think about was that girl, I don't know why but that's all I could think about the whole way there.
