Marinette was rushing around her room trying to get ready for a family dinner and I mean a really fancy family dinner meaning she had to be dressed to the nines.
A familiar knock sounded at her balcony hatch this could only mean that a certain cat boyfriend wanted to pay a visit, she quickly jumped up and undid the latch on the hatch
" Good Evening Princess" He said entering her room
" Hey Chat sorry but you can't stay long as i have to go to a family dinner" she said trying to reach the zipper on the dress she had made
"That's fine just wanted to pop in and say hi" He said grabbing her zipper and pulling it up for her pressing a kiss to her cheek.
" Thanks Chat" She said giving a quick kiss on the lips in return.
" Sooo hows your day been?" Chat asked hovering around her dresser.
" It's been good " she said trying very hard to put on her eyeliner , all was going well until her elbow slipped.
The perfectly straight line that was her wing was now destroyed.
She was annoyed, very annoyed. Chat could see her the distress on her face and wanted to help, over the years he had picked up a few tips and tricks from make-up artists at photo shoots.
" Come here " he said taking the liquid eyeliner away from her
He pulled up a chair and got to work, he removed the mess that was the eyeliner before, he primed her lids, did her eyeliner even gave her a smokey eye as he thought it went with her dress and finished it off with a dash of highlighter and a bright red lip.
" what do you think?" Chat said admiring the handy work on his girlfriends face
" I love it, maybe i should get you to do my make-up more often" Mari said amazed at her boyfriends skill.
" I wouldn't mind that it gives me an excuse to stare into your eyes" He said wrapping his arms around her waist and placing his head on her shoulder
" your such a sap " She said removing herself from his grasp and gathering the rest of her stuff getting ready to leave
" But you love this sap " He said pulling her back in
"You know it kitty but now i must go" she said gesturing to the balcony hatch
" Well Fair enough Princess " He said jumping on her bed and up to the hatch.
" What no good night kiss" He adds
"Wouldn't want to ruin your amazing work now would I" she said placing a kiss on his cheek leaving a perfect lipstick mark on his face.
She locked the hatch and left for her family meal, Chat sat on her balcony for a little while until he realized that he had a photo shoot that evening and had to rush before Natalie realized he was gone and his father had yet another rant at him.
He leaped across the rooftops that night as happy as a cat could be.
