Moving

It was a cool breezy morning. The golden rays of sunlight shining brightly at my face indicating that it was already morning and also time to get up for my big day ahead. I got up, sitting on my bed with a sigh looking around my now empty room. Boxes were stacked up at the corner of my room. The only thing left here was my bed and a large mirror which I probably wouldn't be needing anytime in the future. I really don't like the idea of my parents moving to another place since I've lived here in Sydney for nearly my whole life. The thought of moving it self makes me depressed. But I can't lie, I'm kind of excited to be moving somewhere far away. It would be a new life, a new chapter more like a new beginning for me. The clock which hung across my bed read 8.00 a.m. which meant I had to get ready soon. I got up and walked lazily to my bathroom to take one last shower in this house.

**

'Hey sweetie, dad has already loaded all of your boxes. We're leaving soon, is there anything you left behind?' my mum said as soon as she spotted me outside at my garden.

'No mum, yeah I'm all set to leave' I said to her with a simple smile.

I walked towards the car looking around my house for one last time. It was kind of saddening but I couldn't really do anything about it.All I could do was to just sit and wait for my plane to the city of Bradford, London.

I've never really been out of Australia all my life. My parents, well they're very busy people. They both work day and night, which is obviously why they don't really spend time with me. I grew up all by myself since I was little. I was even home schooled so you might as well know how boring and lonely my life was. I never really had any friends so leaving Australia wasn't really that difficult for me.

I really want to change my living style once I'm in Bradford. I want to live my life, and do all crazy stuff there unlike here. I want to make my time there unforgettable and y'know just have fun. I was woken up from my thoughts when my mum tapped me on the shoulder.

'Honey, we're here' mum said pointing to the airport.

'Yeah I'm coming' I responded getting out from the cab.

My parents were really rich. I'm not bragging or anything but yeah. I don't really use their money. I'm not a kind of person who likes to show off. I keep my self simple and deligent. I got onto the plane which was huge. Right, I've never been on a plane before. I could feel a kind of feeling in the pit of my stomach. I always get that kind of feeling when I'm either nervous or excited. I'm feeling a mixture of both right now.

I queitly walked towards my seat which was beside my mom. I'm not a kind of person who talks alot since I've only talked to my parents who were barely home for the past 16 years of my life. I think that proves why I'm not much of a talker.

I took out my iPod and played some soothing music and slowly drifted to sleep. This ride was surely going to be along one.

After many many hours after spending a miserable time on the plane, we finally reached. The cool Bradford wind hitting my face as soon as I got off the plane. I think I've already started to like this place.

Since it was already kinda late at night I couldn't really see anything, except for the street lights of course. We quickly got into the cab my dad had rented and started our journey to our new home.

The ride was kinda long since we live quite far from the airport we arrived from. Finally we were in the street where the house was located at.

'Woah, it's really huge Steven', said my mum gasping.

I couldn't believe it for my eyes too. It was really huge, which means I'm getting a larger room too! I quickly went inside and explored the lower region of the house. But my focus were all upstairs where my room would be at.

Being the excited girl I was, I sprinted upstairs. No joke. I was walking straight ahead when I saw a purple room which I realized was mine. It had a large king-sized bed in the center with a purple duvet on it. To the corner, I had my very own walk-in-closet which made me jump a little from excitement. I also had a huge window across the enormous table which I could use to keep my books and most of my stuff since it was really huge. I was jumping with joy. I decided to take a shower so I hoped towards the bathroom, which obviously didn't fail to surprise me.

I took a long shower just enjoying every single moment as the steaming water splashed onto my tanned skin. I got out of the bathroom, got dressed and realized that I had a ton of unpacking to do. I glanced at my phone and saw that it was already 3.00 a.m. so I decided that I would do all the unpacking tomorrow.

Before I went to bed, I wanted to see if I had any neighbors since last time I didn't have any. I realized that my window was right opposite my neighbors one. But it wasn't that which caught my eye. It was a man, more like a teenage boy with dark hair and clothes staring right at me through his window with a ciggarate between his lips and tear- stained eyes.
