Kageyama POV
Ugh I think while getting out of my bed. I couldn't sleep last night because of the storm outside. I had been lying there for hours, staring at the sealing, thinking about volleyball. I'm still relieved that the long night is over, but I'm so damn tired. Luckily it's Friday and my mom and dad are going to be on their weekend trip, so I have the house for myself the whole weekend. I went off to school and as soon as I get to Karasuno, I hear a familiar voice behind me.
''Oi Kageyamaaa!''
When I looked behind me I see the orange haired boy running towards me with his bike in his left hand, smiling like a big idiot.
''Hi..'' I say sleepily.
''What's up with you?'' Hinata asks, his brows furrowed.
''Nothing. Just tired. Let's head to school''
While school started, I could still focus on my work but once the last classes ended, I was so tired that once I started tossing to Hinata after school (because the small boy kept on whining and whining for me to toss to him) I fell asleep. Yes you read that right I literally fell asleep while standing there tossing to Hinata.
''Hey Kageyama you could put a little more effort in tossing you kno- Kageyama? Oi Kageyama are you alright?'' Hinata asks concerned.
''Huh? Oh yeah sorry. You know what? I think I'm going to head home I'm really ti-'' I say right before falling flat on the ground.
Hinata POV
Oh shit. What the hell just happened? I think while running towards Kageyama.
''Oi are you-''
When I saw that Kageyama looked flushed and sleeping I knew what happened. He had a fever. AND he was tired.
How the hell am I supposed to deal with this? I think while trying to wake the black haired boy. As soon as Kageyama opened his eyes I say ''Hey Bakayama you should really think before heading to school with a fever idiot. Come on let's get you home.''
Kageyama stood up shakingly, and while leaning on me, we start heading to his house.
As soon as we entered the house, we took off our shoes and headed to Kageyama's bedroom, Kageyama still leaning on me. Once Kageyama laid down on the bed he immediately fell asleep.
He looks so peaceful, it's kinda cute. I think. What? Huh no I didn't mean that! I think while blushing heavily. As I try to press away the weird feeling I have in my stomach I put a blanket over the sleeping boy's body.
When I head downstairs to go home I realize that I can't just go home without taking care of Kageyama. And I kinda want to stay with him.. What? No! I don't want to stay with him.... Do I? I brush the weird feeling off once again and walk to the kitchen to get some water for Kageyama.
Once I get to his bedroom I put the water on Kageyama's desk and start sponging the boy's head with a wet towel.
My face is so close to Kageyama's face now I kinda want to-
''Oi you don't have to take care of me you know.''
I jump when I suddenly hear him say that. Phew that was close.
''Ofcourse I do! Your parents aren't home and someone has to take care of you, and since I am the only other person here it's my duty!'' I say while trying to cover my face blushing.
Kageyama POV
''Ugh fine.''I say like I don't care. Although I DO care. I like having Hinata around me.I can't deny the weird feeling that had been inside of me when Hinata's close. Just before I woke up I could feel Hinata's soft breathing on my skin. He was so close that I kinda wanted to-
''Hey Kageyama?''
''Yeah?''
''Uh well it just started to rain heavily, can I stay until it's over?''
''Yeah sure.'' I say as normal as I can. But I feel something fluttering in my stomach.
Oh no, that weird feeling again..
