Apparently, the hospital wasn't an option and we ended up heading to his 'main' place where he showed me earlier.
This time we weren't alone. I saw 4 cars parked outside and two guys stood outside the door guarding with two AK-47s on their backs.
I was the one who drove which I almost killed us on the ride but we managed to get there.
The two men who stood guards came running when I pulled up.
They got him out of the car and helped him inside.
I followed them close behind as I almost hobbled after them.

Leo winced in pain when one of his men was cleaning his wounds.
"They really fucked you up," he sighed and placed a bandage around his torso.
"I would be dead if it wasn't for Elizabeth,"
The man looked at me as if it was a joke but then gave me a nod.
"Appreciate it. We need him alive a bit longer," he joked.
Leo chuckled but stopped when it hurt.
Leo was placed on his couch in his office and was laying down to rest.
"Before you go, there is someone here who ratted out my hideout and I need to find out who. Get that checked, quietly." Leo noted and the guy gave a nod and walked out of the office.
I limped my way as usual and sat down in one of the chairs.
"I told you to run,"
Leo snaps out.
"You're welcome, If I had, you would've been dead."
Leo gazed at the ceiling.
"You are my lucky charm, after all,"
I looked at him and he closed his eyes and to think he was going to asleep a tear fell from the corner of his eye.
I gulped not knowing what to say.
Instead, I got up from the seat, and walked up beside him, sat down on the floor, and gently grabbed his hand.
His eyes opened. I knew he wanted to ask what I was doing but shut his eyes again.
I knew Kira was a special dog and the gunshot and the way the whimpering stopped made my stomach twist and heart stop.

The door burst opened and I didn't realize I had fallen asleep but found myself laying with my head beside his and still holding his hand. He had also fallen asleep.
But when the door burst opened we both jerked awake and I pulled my hand off his grip and got up from the floor.
The guy from earlier came in and behind him came 2 guys holding a guy with force.

"We found out who ratted on you, boss. The new guy."
Leo struggled himself up and looked over at the 'new guy'.

"Is this true, green bean?" He said calmly yet threatening.
The guy didn't answer but I could tell he was intimidated by Leo.

Leo only breathed out before saying.
"Get Elizabeth's stuff and burn down the cabin,"
When they were on their way out he said. The cabin I thought was sentimental for him and Tom. Maybe not after all?
"Oh, and burn him too,"
I looked at Leo with an opened mouth and looked at the men's reaction but they looked not shocked by the order and walked out with 'green bean'.
"Burn him?!" I asked for confirmation of what I heard.
"They'll shoot him before they burn him."
Leo rested his head on the pillow again and closed his eyes.
What the hell am I involved with?
