The annoying beep of my alarm woke me up 'ugh' I said as I hauled myself out of bed and looked in my mirror that Anutie Gina had bought me specially for when I moved in with them. I had lived with her and my cousins Luke, Jai & Beau for 5 years I moved to Melbourne from England because my parents died In a car crash on Christmas Eve . They died when I was 10 so I knew what was going on, I was being looked after by next door neighbour when we got a unexpected phone call from the police saying that they were driving on a mountain road they had, had a collision with a truck which tipped them over the edge they were killed instantly. I move to Melbourne 3 weeks later I was so nervous because I had never met any of my relatives I settled in quickly though, me and Beau have been in inceprable since. There was a sudden knock at the door that broke my thought. "Yeah?" I shouted. Beau walked in and sat down on my messy bed. "So what's up?" I asked as I tyed my wavy hair in to a high pony. "Well nothing really but me, Luke & Jai were wondering if your wanted to come to James party tonight? You could invite Jess so that you don't look so much like a loner." He said. "Ha funny...Yeah she is coming over later anyway."

I walked into the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and applied makeup, I then walked down to the kitchen were I could hear Luke&Jai arguing about something. Gina was cooking some toast for me "Morning" I said as I say down at the table "Morning babe" Gina replied "You coming to James's party tonight then?" Luke asked "Oh yeah I might" I said as Buttered some toast "Right I'm off to work now" Gina said as she kissed each of us on the head. It was the weekend and Beau wasn't in work so after I got changed we decided to watch a movie until Jess came round. I opened the door to her and she in embraced me in a huge hug which she always does. The boys all said hi before we went to my room to get ready for the party. I jumped in the shower and returned to my room were Jess had layed several dresses on my bed. "Amber which one do you think I should wear?"

"Erm that one" I said as I pointed to a plain black dress that came to mid thigh. She nodded and walked to the bathroom to get changed. I opened my wardrobe and picked out a silvery-grey dress that had kind sheer sleeves. I got changed, straightened my hair and applied some makeup and slipped on some black wedges. "Are you two ready yet we are gonna be late!" Beau shouted up. Me and Jess walked down the stairs to see Beau, Luke & Jai standing round the door "You dickheads scrub up we'll dont you" I said through giggles. "Ey!" They said. We all got into Beau's car and drove round to James's
