New Beginnings

Moving in

The next morning, it was September 26th, and Kaitlin was still asleep. She woke up and said "I gotta hurry! Today, my friends and I move to the Sprout City because of Sprout's 10th anniversary rebrand!" And with that, she brushed and got dressed.

Kaitlin's parents read the newspaper she read a few days ago, and they set her off on the car with her friends moving to the City Apartment, with the Moving Truck behind them.

Kaitlin waved to her friends. Everyone (Chica, Kaitlin B., Carly, and Tim) were there, but Emily was missing. Kaitlin knocked on Emily's door.

"You Ready?" Kaitlin asked, and Emily was, showing off a new beautiful white dress. They got in the Car with the others, driving to Sprout City, chanting "The New Apartment at Sprout City!" repeatedly, until they got there.

The gang went into the apartment complex to explore until their apartment was ready, while the moving company were carrying the boxes into their apartment.

When it was ready, the presenters stood in stunned silence while Kaitlin and Chica looked around and made themselves both at home.

"Whew! What time is it?" Kaitlin B. asked.

"8:45, but it's 8:46 now!" Tim answered.

Emily wondered "But who will host today's SSU episode?"

Carly replied "I have an idea! Maybe all 4 of us since it's our first day here in Sprout City!"

Kaitlin agreed. "Yeah! That's a great idea!" So did Chica.

The apartment bellhop then came into the apartment. "Hi! I'm Megan (pretty unusual for a boys name)." He said.

"Hi Megan!" Everyone replied. They were now getting comfortable for their new apartment, as Tim set up the Wi-Fi.

Megan stopped. He looked at his watch and said "Oh, it's 8:56. Almost time for your show! Sorry to interrupt!"

As Megan left the apartment, a group of directors, cameramen, lighting crew, union grippers, and the sound department arrived, ready to start the first SSU broadcast day (in the apartment, of course!)

After the new title card showed for the first time, everyone greeted the viewers.

Kaitlin said "Hi Sproutlets! Welcome to the brand new Sunny Side Up!"

The theme song started.

Emily said "Today is Saturday! September 26th, 2015!"

Kaitlin B. said back "Guys! It's the first day here at Sprout City! What do you think?"

Carly decided to check the date. Maxwell J., 6, of Springfield, Connecticut, said his weather was Sunny. Mia F., 3, of Cambridge, Massachustus, said her weather was Rainy, and Kennedy R., of Mannasas, Virginia, said his weather was Snowy. The Theme was New Adventures.

After filming, it was time for Ruff-Ruff, Tweet, and Dave to begin. Everyone took a break. "This new apartment is gonna be a wild ride!" added Kaitlin.
