I'll try and keep things as short as possible.
First of all, this fic discusses topics such as abusive relationships and domestic violence that could be triggering to some readers. I'm not planning for this to happen until later on in the story, but I'll put warnings on chapters that have these topics. If you don't feel comfortable about reading stuff like that, I advise you to skip those chapters. I can summarize important plot points in more notes so you don't miss anything.
Second, I have never been in an abusive relationship. I don't know anybody who ever has been in an abusive relationship. What goes down in this story may not be entirely accurate to your experiences if you ever have been in a relationship like that (if you have, please seek help. One of the numbers for help I've found online is 1-800-799-SAFE (7233). I'm basing most of this off of research and other fics I've read, and I apologize in advance if you are offended by anything you read here.
Thirdly, this probably isn't what anyone expected. It sure isn't what I expected, either. But, hey; I wrote it, here it is, it probably isn't very good but that's okay because I just wanted to publish something. And that something just so happened to be this twisted story.
