"I don't get it! Was I not enough?"
Sonya was sitting on the bed in the Ravenclaw dorms. She found out yesterday that her boyfriend had cheated on her then proceeded to break up with her in front of anyone. Andrew Charleston, a 6th year Slytherin. He was a tall and lanky boy who was too cocky for his own good. He and Sonya had dated since third year but he started cheating on her the summer of 4th year.
"Sonya your amazing and beautiful, your more than enough and he's just a pompous Git who didn't realize he lost the best damn thing in his miserable life" Melissa said reassuring Sonya and handing her more tissues.
"And you know If you want tomorrow he can end up with no eyebrows and bright red hair" I said hinting at something making Maggie glare at me and Sonya laugh "what! Oh Come on it got Sonya to laugh!"
I tried to defend myself from Maggie's glare but it didn't help the scary look i was receiving. I swear she didn't blink for a good 3 minutes, I ended up sticking my tongue out at her like the respectable adult I am. It caused Maggie to stop staring at me and laugh.
Sonya laughed at the looks that were sent and received between me and Maggie. Melissa just rolled her eyes at our childish behavior and got up to use the backroom. We waited for Mel to come out of the bathroom and cracked up jokes until we heard the creak of the bathroom door open. There stood Melissa with her arms crossed and we all laughed at her.
"Come on children we need to head down to the hall for lunch and our little miss mischievous queen can tell us what happened last night" Melissa said grabbing her bag and motioned for us to follow, ignoring the groan I made when she mentioned the night before.
We all made our way down giggling about something Maggie said when we stopped seeing Professor Snape ahead of us. He looked at us and glared at Maggie and Sonya, Melissa just got a blank look. Somehow he stopped at me and his eyes softened, I've gotten that same look before but I never knew why. He held sorrow and grief in his eyes every Damn time he looked at me and it annoyed me.
Why the hell does he glare at everyone but then gets to me and suddenly his whole demeanor changes. I'm not complaining it's great when I don't get yelled at or get points taken away in potions but it irritates me cause I don't know why he acts like that.
"Professor" Melissa said respectfully, since she's the only other once he stands in our crazy group of friends. Professor Snape nodded at her and looked at me once more I decided to take a rise and do something stupid and crazy at the same time.
Ismiled at him.
You can gasp now. Wait hold on, don't gasp yet! He didn't sneer at me he smiled back! What?
