Goodbye and Good Riddance

Chapter 1

"K-kuroo calm d-down...pl-please." She said in a quiet voice.

"Why should I!?" He shouted at her, making her flinch.

"W-well...I-ill-

"Oh, what are you gonna do? You gonna go tell on me to someone? Did you forget that we're 'Nekoma's best couple'? If you say anything to anyone about this, it'll ruin my reputation! Do you want that to happen to me?!"

She was shaking at this point. She hated when he got like this, but shouldn't she have been used to it by now? It was an everyday thing.

"N-no..of c-course n-not." She whispered to him. Tears started to form in her eyes.

"That's what I thought. God, your such a pain in the ass. Go away, you've ruined my day enough." He said, turning away from her.

She nodded even though he couldn't see and walked away from him, heading home. 'I always mess things up between us, don't I?' As she was walking, she let out a sniffle and quickly wiped away the tears in her eyes.

'No, I shouldn't cry. He didn't mean what he said. Calm down Sapphire. Just give him some time and everything will go back to normal in the morning. Besides, Kuroo hates when you cry. Remember it makes you look pathetic and would embarrass him.' She thought to herself as she took a few deep breaths.

After a few minutes of walking, she finally reached her house. She went inside and did her usual routine. She shut the front door, greeted her parents, told them that school was fine, then went to her room to start her homework.

Once she finished, she decided to sketch for a bit.

She grabbed her sketch book and started sketching a picture of Kuroo.

'Maybe if I draw him an amazing picture, he'll forgive me and my slip up today!' She thought excitedly.

A few hours went by when she finished her sketch. She was so proud of it that she couldn't wait to show Kuroo her drawing of him.

'I know! Kuroo always shows up to school early. So i'll surprise him by showing up to school early too! That way I can give it to him and he'll be proud of me, and happy all day!' She then decided to call it a night and get ready for bed.

~time skip to the next day~

The next morning came and Sapphire woke up earlier than usual. She was just too excited to give Kuroo his surprise.

She was happily making her way to school with her sketch in hand, daydreaming about Kuroo's reaction to his gift.

Finally, after what felt like forever but was actually only 15 minutes, Sapphire made it to her school. She started speed walking to Kuroo's homeroom class, just knowing that he would be in there.

She made it to the room and carefully opened up the door, with her eyes closed and a bright smile on her face.

"Oh Kuroo~ I have a surprise for y-..." She pauses mid-sentence as she opened up her eyes and froze at what she was looking at.

Sapphire's eyes widened in shock and she dropped her drawing to the ground.

There was no one else in the room other than Kuroo, who was pinning her best friend, to the wall.

And they were kissing.
