"Do you go zero to a hundred ni-"
"Charlie, shut up!" I snapped at my cousin and he gave me a smirk. After his little incident early, Bryce and his friend Drake had come to find us. Drake claimed it was because my parents said I was to give them a tour of the house, but I knew it was because they wanted me to be around Bryce.
So now we were walking around the town, showing them the little shops we had.
"So, are you two brothers?" Bryce finally spoke and Charlie snorted out an answer before I could.
"No you microwaved piece of soap, he's my cousin," I slapped my forehead and shook my head.
"Why am I related to you?" I questioned out loud and Charlie just chuckled along with Bryce and Drake.
"Are there any other secrets' we should know about you two?" Drake asked, clearly amused by my idiotic cousin. I didn't understand how us being cousins was a secret, but whatever floated his boat, I guess.
"Well yeah," Charlie drawled. "I'm gay."
"He meant something we didn't already know," I deadpanned and Drake busted out in laughter while Bryce just chuckled and shook his head. I rolled my eyes at Charlie's shocked expression.
"I'm kidding Char. You and I both know you are not gay,"
"Hey you don't know that that for sure," Drake chuckled and I sighed.
"He's right though, I'm not," Charlie admitted and I swore I saw disappointment in Drakes eyes. "Besides, if I was gay, next thing we would be hearing is the skies orange."
"Oh my god, Charlie you fucking idiot! The sky does turn orange, have you not seen a goddamn sunset!" I snapped and turned away from him. See, this is why I hated when he visited. He was annoying and utterly stupid and I felt myself loosing brain cells just by looking at him.
"You guys are a mess," Drake sighed and my eyes widened as I waited for Charlie's comeback.
"Are we a hot mess, at least?" He asked and I sighed deeper this time.
"I think it's almost time for dinner," I said to no one in particular and started heading back to the Pack house. And looky there, I was right! It was dinner time! I walked into the living room where everyone was sitting while dinner was set up and took a seat on the arm of the couch next to my Papa. He looked up at me a smiled, and I returned the gesture. Bryce, Drake and Charlie walked in a few seconds later and Charlie glared at me.
"You left me with strangers!" He whined and I rolled my eyes.
"Pick a number," I told him and he looked at me in confusion. "Just pick a number." I repeated.
"Okay...four?"
"Now square it,"
"Sixteen, did I win something?"
"Divide it by eight, and then subtract it by two," I waited as he did the calculations in his head and stood up as he screwed up his face.
"What the hell? That equals zero!"
"That's exactly how many fucks I give," I deadpanned and walked out of the room. I smirked to myself when I heard a howl of laughter behind me.
"He is the prefect mate for you Bryce!" I heard Alpha Jordan say and my smirk fell. I continued walking to the dining room, taking a seat as I waited. After a couple of minutes, everyone started filing in. I smiled as my parents took their seats beside me, leaving one seat open. I was assuming it was for Bryce, but Charlie and his infinite wisdom, waltzed over and took the seat.
