[jaejin's pov]
it was saturday and i had nothing else to do. joshua invited a couple of friends over and of course, i invited my best friend over. or at least i thought.
"you're such a weak bitch, no wonder jeonghan and all your crushes hate you." she scoffed as my ears perked up.
"what do you mean i'm weak? just because i cry alot, it doesn't mean that-"
"you can't even stand up for yourself! what boy wants that?! that's why all your crushes became my boyfriends. one after another." she smirked as my anger and sadness rises.
"wh-what do you mean?" i ask, my breath getting heavier and my tears rising.
"now i just have to get jeonghan. easy peasy, call him here." she took her phone out and rested back into my spiny chair.
"b-but-"
"now!" she yelled and pushed me towards the door, making me bang into someone.
"so-sorry.." i apologised as i bowed and looked up to see jeonghan.
"why are you crying princess? what did you do to her minki?" he pulled me into a hug as i continued crying.
"i don't know. anyways, wanna go on a date?" she asked with a tone of happiness, what a bitch.
"nope." he walked in and sat down with me on my bed, pulling my hair off from my face as he kept asking if i was alright in which i just kept quiet.
"wha-what?" minki was shocked by his response.
"i already have someone in mind. plus, why would i go with someone who hurt my best friend? i heard some parts. i'm not deaf, nor am i dumb. so what if she's weak? at least she's not a slut like you." jeonghan spat making my tears go back up as i heard him say bad words.
"ughh! why do you even like her? it's not like she's pretty or anything-"
"she's beautiful. inside and out, unlike you. now, please delete her contact, her brothers contact, and if you dare go close to her one more time, i won't be afraid to start yelling." he said as my hand unconciously wrapped around his waist.
him being shocked by my sudden action, put me on his lap and started praising me while he hugged me. soon enough, i fell asleep on his shoulder and let's just say he was a gentleman to wake me up before dinner.
