Against the World

Intro

In a far distant future, the USA turns itself into the continent of Diamant. The scientists in Diamant are far from the best. They are the smartest in the world, over rulling all the other continents.

In the lab, about 20 years before now, a scientist made a discovery that would change the human race forever. She found out that by releasing carbon minolodiox, a new type of rare element, to a lilly pad flower, it makes it...

If you think of something you need, and crush a pedal, you get it. The war effort of the US was at its lowest, and the Goverment needed a new kind of army.. Not 100% human, but something that had tremendous power.

Every June, all the 14 year olds of Diamant must go to a live television "Choosing" in which they think of a power, and crush the pedal in their hands, giving the power to them.

That's how this all comes back to Jonna, a 14 year old teen girl, with the wish to be telekinesis, or in earlier language, to be able to move things with her mind: a few villans, a few friends, but still against the world.
