growing up i was a kid that got everything i wanted in life. my family had just moved to virginia in a small town some people known as mystic falls before the whole vampire thing happened. it was peaceful. all i can remember growing up in a small house like everyone else with a roof over my head and food on the table. at the age of 13 years old. i woke up in the middle of the night with a fright. i ran downstairs to try and find my parents but they weren't there so i grabbed my blanket and laid down on the couch and waited for them to come home but i passed out a little bit later. i woke up from my sleep and i was in my bed again. but i could have sworn that i slept on the couch.
i had gotten out of bed and went downstairs to see if mommy and daddy were making breakfast but they weren't and i ran back upstairs to see if they were still asleep but they were not in bed either. i decided to call my dads phone to see if he would answer but all i got was a voicemail. then i called mommy and there was still no answer. i waited for them to get home so i grabbed my blanket and waited. the phone rings and i answer it. it wa that one call none wanted to hear." hey anastasia its sherif forbs im sorry to say this but your parents are dead." at that moment i was an orphan.i went upstairs and grabbed my things and waited for sheriff forbes to come get me. " a little bit later she knocked on the door. i hobbled over to the door and opened it slightly. once she said hi i opened it. she gave me a big hug and i started to cry my eyes out. i could not believe they where actually dead. sheriff forbes then grabbed my stuff and put it into the car.
i went to go live at her house till i turned 18 and could live on my own. when we got to her home she grabbed my things and i followed her into the house. she set my thing down in the spare bedroom upstairs that caroline use to use and at the time she was only 14 so when she had seen me she freaked out and dragged me into her room so we could play. caroline didn't know that my parents had die. so i thought i wouldn't tell her not now. after caroline started getting tired i got up and went into my new bedroom and unpacked my things. and layed down on the bed and cried myself to sleep.
(*flashback ends*)
im now 17 and almost done with highschool. me and caroline have grown closer since the day i moved in with her and her mom. i get up in the morning to get ready for school and i quick jump into the shower and when i get done i go out and get ready for my normal day. i go to my closet and pick out my black leather skinny jeans and a shirt shirts and my heels . as i walk downstairs i run into caroline in the kitchen and she hands me a bagel and we walk out the door for school. we get into the car and caroline drives. for the first 5 minutes we talk about what our plans are this weekend and then i look out the window and get side tracked.
once we get to school i run into elena and she is with her boyfriend stephen who everyone knows is a vampire and caroline is one too now. we found out bonnie is a witch so everything is crazy right now. once the day is done we all go to the grill and hang out and do homework quick. once we are done we just hangout and talk. i look around every once an in while because i can feel as if someone is watching me. but i don't care at this point. everyone starts to leave and then caroline decides to go home and asked if i wanted to go too. but i told her i would meet her there later.
i was walking home and decided to take a different way home. i could feel someone was following me and everytime i looked back i had seen no one i had turned a corner and out of no where a guy grabbed my neck and brought me to an ally i tried to scream but he kept covering my mouth and then once i felt the searing pain of his fangs pierced my neck and the blood draining from my body i knew i was going to die. i started to black out but before i went i felt the man tugged off of me and a metallic taste enter my mouth and i swallowed it and i blacked out.
when i woke up i was in the hospital and caroline and her mom was right next to me "hey" i said in the loudest voice i could at the moment but i could see caroline was happy i was awake it looked like she was crying. " you almost died" but as soon as i turned my neck i felt a sharp pain and i felt a patch. care's mom asked me if i knew what happened i said i was attacked by a vampire and thats it. i blacked out soon after. i could tell she was saying something so only caroline could hear it "do you know who saved you?" they asked "no". "Ok. " they said and her mom left the room caroline stayed in the room. caroline stayed with me the rest of the night and i feel asleep.
