8:13am

Dawn woke up and the sun hitting her face like greeting her good morning. It's a good day to celebrate, she thought. She turned to greet her husband but didn't find him beside her. Instead, a bouquet of her favorite flowers.

"Happy Mother's Day, Dawn!", the card says. She smiled as she picked them up and smelled them. She put them on the side and took a mental note to put them in her favorite vase. She was about to get up from bed when the kids barged in bringing breakfast for her.

"Good morning, Mama! Happy Mother's Day!", said the kids and they immediately gave her hugs and kisses. Being a mom is the best thing that happened to her and she cherish every single day with them. She really feels blessed having these two in her life.

"We made you breakfast, Mama! But Kuya burnt the pancakes."

Dawn giggles, "it's fine, sweetheart. I'm sure Kuya made sure it's still delicious!"

"It's still good, Mama. I tasted it!"

"Okay, kids. Let's eat na with Mama.", her husband said. They gathered all together and just like that, her morning became even brighter than she expected. Pancakes, Bacon, Coffee, Toasts, Tapa, and Fried Rice. They really made her happy by just looking at the breakfast spread!

2:23pm

Around afternoon, the kids decided to do their own thing and her husband taking a nap since he and the kids woke up early to greet her. She decided to surprise them with dinner. They've been on lockdown just like everyone else and her husband has been cooking for them ever since. She was browsing through youtube to look for recipes when she stumbled upon Richard's Pork Binagoongan.

"Aba! May youtube channel na siya!", she tells herself. She clicked and watched it. The way Richard moves in the kitchen is all familiar to her. They way he chopped the veggies, how he pours everything by eye ball because he never measures anything. He just knows it's the right amount and the food would always taste perfect. The way he stands by the stove is just how he always seemed to be. The same Richard he knows in his favorite place. When Richard finished cooking the binagoongan, she felt like she could smell it from the screen and realized that it's one of the first things he cooked for her when they were together.

Dawn was exhausted from days of taping. She came home during the wee hours of the morning. Richard was still sleeping. She changed into his old shirt that became her pambahay and snuggled right next to him and automatically, he wrapped his arms around her. It's been more than a month since she moved in with him and their schedules has been very busy. They have been having this set-up for weeks now - she comes home around sunrise and him leaving very early for work that they don't get to spend so much time together and she misses him so bad. But that day when she came home, she was already thinking of calling in sick just so she can spend the night with him when he comes home from work. She doesn't care if her manager gets mad. She misses Richard so she came up with that plan.

Dawn woke up the sun hitting her face. She faced Richard's side and all she found was a single stemmed rose and a note. She picked up the rose, smelled it, smiled and took the note for her to read.

"Good morning, my love!

I hope you had a good sleep. Your breakfast is ready. I just want you to know that our days might have been hectic lately but I always look forward to the day that we'll be both free and finally take you out on a proper date. Take care on the set and don't skip your meals! I love you and I will see you tonight (hopfully, I'm not yet sleeping). I miss you so much, baby!
