10th Grade Werewolf ( A Mystery Hill series)

A Run For Our Lives

Just as we were about to run. The werewolf destroyed the wall and made a deafening roar. I know there are chances of me and Troy dying in this kind of situation. So we have no choice but to conquer our fear. And do anything just to survive from this scary beast.

"Troy! Quick give me the spray!" I ordered.

"Here! Catch!"Troy threw the pepper spray towards me.

"Take this you beast!" I said while spraying at the werewolf.

The werewolf stumbled around while covering its face. We quickly made a run for it. We suddenly heard the howl of the werewolf. Then suddenly the werewolf blasted on the roof and leaped  towards us.

"TROY! RUN QUICKLY!! THE WEREWOLF IS COMING AFTER US!!". I yelled at Troy.

" HOW CAN WE OUTRUN A BEAST?! DON'T FORGET WEREWOLVES HAVE SUPER SPEED!" Troy answered at me.

" WELL FUCK IT AND JUST RUN!!". I replied.

"STEV! THIS IS REALLY A BAD IDEA!!". Troy screamed.

For a moment in my life. I realized how serious this situation was.  And in that moment, I thought that Troy's life is more important than mine. As we ran for our lives. I have decided that I will protect Troy.

I turned my back and took my knife along with the pepper spray.

"STEV!! THIS IS NOT ACCORDING TO THE PLAN!". Troy yelled as he cried.

"Troy just keep on running and make sure to be alive so that you can tell your kids this amazing story.." I replied. " GO TROY! RUN! Protect yourself.." I smiled at him.

"STEV! COME BACK ALIVE PROMISE ME!"

Tears fell down from my cheeks.
"I'm sorry Troy! But you have to leave me alone this time." I said.

Troy started to run again. I prepared my knife as the werewolf comes near to me.
I charged myself towards the werewolf and dodged it's attacks. I stabbed its shoulder with the knife and it made a loud howl. The werewolf threw me away. I flew towards a tree and my body  slammed on the tree. The werewolf came charging on me again and I picked my knife up then dodged the werewolf's attack.

I don't know how I'm able to move this quick since I'm not an athletic type of a guy.
But I know one thing for sure. I need to defeat the monster in front of me or be eaten by the monster in front of me. I quickly stood up and prepared for the next attack.

I took a deep breath and analyzed the werewolves movements. The moment the werewolf made eye contact with me. I trembled in fear. Like I want to move but I can't. I want to run but I can't. Those eyes.. Those bloody red eyes... Those are the eyes of an ALPHA.

I pulled myself together and charged towards the werewolf. But the werewolf dodged my attack and stabbed me in the stomach. I puked a lot of blood during that attack.

" How dare you trespass in my territory, human." The werewolf spoke.

" Huh? Y-you can talk?" I asked.

" A measly human dare to come in my territory!!!" The werewolf yelled then it threw me to the nearest tree.

"UGH!" I grunted in pain.

The werewolf bit the side of my waist then grabbed me by the neck. Suddenly a loud roar echoed towards us. A man with similar eyes appeared  before us and leaped towards the werewolf. The two of them were fighting just like how two wolves would fight over the position of the leader.

" Kid, run! Run as fast as you can!" The mysterious man commanded.

" A-ah, yes.." I replied and quickly stood up then ran away.

Who is that man? Why did he help me? So the supernatural is really true?But how did that man not changed into that kind of form? Ugh this is too much for my brain to think of. But I need to escape as quickly as I can or I'll die.

" STEV! You're alive!" Someone suddenly appeared and hugged me tight.

" Ugh! Sh*t that hurts!" I grunted

" Oh sorry about that, I'm just happy you're alive." Troy answered. " Wait are you bitten?" Troy followed up with a question.

"Uhh? Yes?" I answered hesitantly.

" Was it's eyes colored with red?" He asked again.

" Yes" I answered.

" Oh my God." He covered his mouth. " Stev, you... are a werewolf now." He stared at my eyes.

WAIT WHAT?! A WEREWOLF?!
