3rd Person's POV
"Miraculous Ladybug!!!" the female heroine shouted. Everything went back to normal and the akumatized person was deakumatized.
Once again, the ultimate duo has saved Paris from the threat of Hawkmoth.
"Pound it?" Ladybug raised a fist towards Cat Noir to do their usual thing, but to her surprise, Cat Noir just stared at it.
"Ladybug, I-... " he said with a troubled look in his face. Ladybug frowned. "What's wrong kitty?" she asked worriedly.
"Nothing... pound it" Cat Noir then receives Ladybug's fist and pretended like everything's fine.
Ladybug still was confused. 'Why did Cat Noir acted like that? It was so unlike him. ' she thought to herself.
Just as she was about to open her mouth to ask, her earrings flashed. With a hurried voice, she said, "I'm not quite sure what's bothering you Cat Noir, but I hope you're alright. I gotta go. See you soon Kitty. Bug out!" and with that as a cue, Ladybug disappeared from Cat Noir's sight.
He let out a deep sigh before going his way too.
MEANWHILE AT DUPAIN-CHENG'S ROOFTOP
Marinette's POV
"spots off" I muttered under my breath. Tikki fell into my palms, exhausted.I gave her a pinch of the macaroon from my bag so she can have her energy back.
"You look troubled, Marinette. Is something bothering you?" Tikki asked.
"It's Cat Noir, he's..." I couldn't continue what I wanted to say. I looked down and I guess Tikki already knows what I mean."
He's acting strange, isn't he?" Tikki asked me straightforwardly.
To be honest, I do think so too.
"Do you think he finally gave up on Ladybug?" I looked at Tikki floating next to me with a questionable and worried look on my face.
"I guess so. Maybe he finally moved on. Wouldn't that be great?" Tikki replied with a bit of excitement.
"Marinette...?" she asked once again since I didn't respond.
What's wrong with me? I should be happy. No more flirty Cat Noir and we can finally focus on our mission. That's great! But.......
"You're not so happy about it are you?" Tikki seems to get what I feel. I don't even know what I feel.
"I don't know, Tikki... it's just that... I'm so used to him being, you know? flirty. I never thought I'd actually miss that side of him."
I feel really really bad about this. I should be happy, right? Besides, I have Luka...
Tikki gave me a hug. somehow, I felt better."Don't worry Marinette, you'll get used to it" my kwami tried to cheer me up...I sure do hope so ...
Adrien's POV
"claws in" I said after finally getting back to my room. I prepared a piece of Camembert for Plagg to consume.
