The dynamics of the four of them have shifted but they pretended that it did not. They hung out like they usually do. "THAT was so funny, you should have seen his face!!" Jinyoung exclaimed and he told the rest about the prank Jackson and he pulled on one of their professors. "Should we re-enact the whole scene??", Jackson suggested and burst out laughing when he saw the looks on Mark and Jaebum. Mark clapped his hands in delight, "I can understand why Jackson did that but...I can't believe you went along with it Jinyoung!" Jackson grinned and revealed that Jinyoung came up with the idea. "No way?! Jinyoung a prankster?? He looks too innocent to be the mastermind", Mark was surprised. "I can totally believe that, you can't trust innocent looking people. They can be the most manipulative and evil people you will ever meet. Right Mark?" Jaebum smiled as he harshly stabbed his fries with his fork. He dipped them into the chilli sauce causing some of the sauce to splatter onto the table. Mark's smile dropped instantly and there was suddenly this awkward atmosphere surrounding them. "Um, is it me or it's getting a little chilly here..." Jackson remarked and Jinyoung laughed it off. "Don't be a drama queen Jackson, anyways I do not always come up with pranks, maybe just once in a blue moon..." Jinyoung declared that he is totally innocent. The table was full of noise again as Jackson started to protest against it. "He is lying!!"
Soon enough, time was up and they had to go attend their respective lessons. As they walked out of the cafeteria, Mark shot Jaebum an icy glare. "I know what you are doing, but it isn't going to work," Mark said as he brushed past Jaebum as he left. Meanwhile, Jinyoung caught up with Jaebum. "Hey, we need to talk, follow me." Jinyoung pulled Jaebum alongside. "What? Where are you taking me?" Jinyoung ignored him and continued walking. "Why did you drag me here?" Jaebum was confused as he observed the room. It was filled with books, it was basically a mini library and they even had a TV. Is that a coffee machine? "Wow, what is this? Your secret dungeon?" Jaebum was impressed. "This is the student council's room. Yea and it's also my room."
"Wait, before I begin do you have anything to say to me?" Jinyoung questioned Jaebum. "No, why would I?" Jinyoung nodded his head. He rummaged through a pile of papers. "Here, I found it." Jinyoung handed him an envelope. Jaebum looked amused as he saw his name printed on it. "What's this? Is that a love letter?" Jinyoung scoffed at that. "How funny!" Jaebum tore open the letter and he read it. "What the hell? Community service?? Are you kidding me???" Jaebum threw the paper and envelope onto the table. "What is the meaning of this Jinyoung? I thought we agreed to let it slide?" Jinyoung explained that someone had reported him to the college dean and accused him of being biased. "Seriously, I bailed you out three times and this might cause me to lose my credibility! And you will be suspended if you don't obey the rules." Jinyoung dismissed Jaebum.
As Jinyoung was working on his law assignment, Jaebum barged into the room. He was covered in dirt. Jinyoung giggled and wiped his face with a tissue. "Actually, you just needed to arrange the books in the library, you didn't need to sweep the sports hall..." Jinyoung revealed the truth to him. Jaebum was annoyed, to say the least. "So you lied to me?" Jinyoung nodded and went back to his assignment. He waited for his reaction. One..two..three and "Why would you do that??" Jaebum snatched the papers from his hands and glared at him. Jinyoung walked right up to Jaebum and said that he remembers. "Because you lied to me Jaebum..." Jaebum didn't understand what he was saying. Jinyoung began again. "That night...other than the fact that we fought, we kissed didn't we?" Jaebum spluttered, "What?! How did you...You--you weren't drunk?" "I don't know...I just...I can remember bits and pieces here and there." Jaebum lets out a breath he didn't know he was holding. "Well, it was a drunken stupor...just so you know, it didn't mean anything. It was kind of embarrassing so I didn't want to mention it." Jinyoung looked up. His eyes widened for a split second and then quickly narrowed at Jaebum. "Embarrassing??" Jinyoung stepped forward and challenged him. "What part of it was embarrassing?" Jaebum was at a loss of words. Silence filled the empty space. "Well? Why can't you speak now? Wait, do you by any chance... like me?" Jaebum denied it at once. "Hell no, of course not. No way..." Jinyoung stopped advancing further. A wave of disappointment washed over him. Then Jinyoung did something unexpected. He stepped forward and kissed him. Jaebum leaned into him but Jinyoung pulled away almost as immediately. "Don't be mistaken. Like you said this doesn't mean anything. I don't like you either...I shouldn't have brought this up. You can go now." With that, Jinyoung went back to his desk. Jaebum was about to say something but he was interrupted by a knock on the door. The door opened and Yugyeom popped his head in. "Jinyoung hyung there you are, Mark hyung is looking for you...Jaebum hyung?? Why are you here?" Yugyeom was surprised to see Jaebum here of all places. Jinyoung smiled at Yugyeom and replied that he called him here for his detention. Jinyoung stacked the papers on his desk into a neat pile. "See you later gyeom..." And then the door was slammed shut.
"Wait Jinyoung, we are not done talking yet..." Jinyoung threw him an icy look. "I am busy. Get lost...and forget everything that happened just now." Jaebum silently left the room.

The next day, Jinyoung found Mark waiting by the benches. Mark beamed when he saw Jinyoung approaching. He got up and handed Jinyoung a box of chocolates. "I didn't know what kind of chocolates you like so I chose one of every kind. Hope you like it." Jinyoung accepted the box with a puzzled look on his face. "Thanks hyung, but may I ask what's the special occasion? Why are you giving me chocolates?" Mark placed the box aside and grasped Jinyoung's hands. "I think it's about time to tell you...I like you for quite some time" Mark confessed, "I sought you out on the very first day of school when I first saw you. I knew I had to get closer to you somehow. So I got you to join my soccer team, at first I was worried you won't be able to make it but who would have expected that you would turn out to be the best player the team has seen? I swear that you are very talented in soccer and you being the captain is not a mistake at all. I fell for you instantly. Will you be mine?" Jinyoung couldn't believe his ears. Jinyoung placed his hands on top of Mark's. "Mark, I like you too but this is a lot to take in right now...can you give me some time to think about it?" Mark nodded his head. He asked Mark to keep it a secret between the two of them. "It's just so sudden, it will be quite a shock for them. Let's not tell them yet."Mark agreed and ruffled his hair. He then asked Jinyoung to open the box of chocolates. Mark took out a piece and fed one to him. The chocolate melted in his mouth and was that raspberry flavoured? Jinyoung savoured the taste of it and he licked his lips. "This taste amazing Mark, I love them." Mark smiled and fed him another piece. "Here, this is even better..." Jinyoung accepted them and lets the chocolate melt against his tongue. Jinyoung sighs in pleasure.
"Jinyoungie you look so sinful right now" An idea popped up in Jinyoung's head. He took another piece of chocolate and made sure that Mark has his eyes on him, he slowly puts it in his mouth. He moaned in contentment when the caramel burst as the chocolate melted. And then he licked the remaining chocolate from his lips. Mark protested. "Oh my god, you are driving me so mad you have to stop making those sounds...I just want to kiss you right now." Jinyoung laughed as he popped another chocolate into his mouth and closed the lid. He decided to save the rest. "Hmm but you can't Mark, I am not yours...yet" Jinyoung got up from the bench and smiled at him. Mark kissed his cheek. "I know but I can't help it, you are just irresistible." For a moment Mark reminded him of Leo his ex-boyfriend.
"Aren't you going to offer me one?" Mark asked Jinyoung.
"Do you mean me or the chocolate?" Jinyoung asked innocently.
"Jinyoungie stop being such a tease!"
