Chapter 1

A/N sorry about the short chapter and the horrible grammar, but i promise it will get better... i hope...

Kaname's pov           

As a neko I have always ran away, from everybody. Even my own parents. Well, they kicked me out but I sneaked back in to get my stuff, and I was chased out of the house and I ran, like I always do. That then leads me to where I am today. Living in an alley, cold, sick and alone.           

today I had got enough money from begging, that I bought some nice clothes and I applied for a job. It wasn't a nice job but it was still a job to help me get by. I now worked at a convenience store.           

I thought that maybe my co-workers would be nice and help me out but well, they seem hesitant around me.           

I mean I asked for help at the cash register and they looked at me funny.            

But a plus to this job, my boss is hot, nice, and even better... he's gay... but married.           

The day was slow and I sadly had the whole day shift for this whole week.           

About ten minutes before closing time, my boss walks in as my co-worker clocks out and leaves. "hey Kaname, I have a emergency at home so here's the keys, I need you to lock up at the end of your shift and unlock at 7am tomorrow morning. again, I'm sorry, I will see you tomorrow. also for this, I'll give you a bonus check for this" he says giving me the keys to lock up and then he leaves.

As he leaves, I sigh and I go back to behind the counter. A few minuets later, I was about to start restocking the shelves until I notice a group of teenagers walk in, loudly.

I sigh and I clean up behind the counter, picking up all my trash from earlier on in the day.

After they left, I go to the door and I lock it, turning the open sign off. i go to the back, turning off all the lights off. I then go to the workers room and I grab my stuff, going out the back door. I make sure to lock it once I was out.

The streets were less crowed than usual, almost like most of the city had disappeared. I go to the buss stop and I wait there, standing.

Now, though I don't have a home, I would like to ride the bus around town. I then look at my phone and I decide to text my boss.

(Madoke saki(boss)- Ms. and Kaname Toikishi- Kt)

Kt- hey, are you busy?

Ms- kinda, whats up, is everything good with the store?

Kt- yes, everything is good. So um, I only started this job because i'm homeless and I just needed money. I don't want to stay where I've been staying, witch is an ally. If it's ok with you and yours husband, may I stay the night with you guys?

Ms- yes dear one, you can stay, we would never say no to someone who works for us, we don't mind

Kt- thank you very much, whats your address?

Ms- don't worry about that, are you still at the store, I can come get you. besides i'm down the road at a shop.

Kt- yea, kinda, i'm at the bus stop closest to the store

Ms- Alright, i'm on my way, stay put

With that, a warm feeling fills my heart. 

A few minuets pass by and I see his car pull up. The window rolls down and he tells me to get in. I smile, quickly getting into the car. "thanks again Mr. Saki" he pats my head and I smile, my ears coming uncovered without me noticing.

"So your a neko I see..."
