Calla's POV:
Most people cant wait for their senior year to be over, but for some reason i always knew mine was gonna be a time i would never forget. Brad pulled in with his brand new 2013 Chevrolet Camaro with a V8 engine. It had to be the sexxiest car in the world. It was all Brad could talk about, his parents said if he plays foootball his senior year they would make the payments on it. He has never been the one that was into crowds but he was the best damn qauterback Wittsburg High ever had.
He shut off the car and walked up to me, he had this look on his face as if there was something wrong. I ignored it as soon as i got a good look at his deep crystal blue eyes. They remined me of the sunlight hitting the waves at the beach, the way the light reflects and makes the water look like its glowing. His eyes always sucked me in, maybe thats why i can never say no. "Hey baby we have to take my sister with us to school this morning. I hope yopu dont mind" he gave a little laugh to hide that he wasnt too happy about it either.
"Of course i mind. Shes got to be one of the most annoying people at our school, you even say so. But whatever, there isnt anything i can do about it now. But if your taking her then you can pick up Adam too." I knew i wasnt gonna get my way, because i never do. "If Marissa wasnt taking up the whole back seat, then yeah I'd probably pick Adam up. But shes sleeping, so thats a no." He smirked, then turned to walk back to his car. Without even looking at me he added "Come on or we are gonna be late."
I did what he said, and we were on our way to school. We had passed Adam's bus stop and i waved at him, He waved back and smiled. There wasnt much traffic in the mornings on the way too school most people just rode the bus because it was easier. We stopped at a red light when a car pulled up beside us, their windows were down and their music was blaring. The passinger in the car was staring at Brad and was whispering something to the driver. They turned off their music and continued to talk to each other to low for me to hear. I look at Brad and could see a hint of fear in his eyes. His hand gripped the steering wheel and his knuckles were turning white.
"Aye kid! Yeah you! Arent you the one that took ours bosses weed and didnt pay? Our boss wants to have a word with you. And if you dont come your pretty little girl gets it." the guy pulled out a gun and it was pointed at me and chuckled. Fear soon began to eat at me. The light was still red, and Brad didnt even aknowledge the guy that was talking. My breathing started to get heavy and my hands were trembling. Within the next second i saw the light turn green and Brad hit the gas. The man fired his gun, and missed hisreal target, me.The sound of the gunshot made me jump, Marissa woke up and began to rubbed her eyes.
"What the fuck guys?" She said groggily. "Nothing go back to sleep. I'll let you know when we get to school."He replied with no facial expression. He just kept driving and didnt say another word.
