A Slayer's Magic (DoomEternalxFairyTail)

Chapter 1: Shotgun Shells and Magic

Natsu, Gray and Erza ran down the stairs and into a corridor. Erza stopped in her tracks when she saw what was at the end of it causing Natsu and Gray to skid to a stop behind her,"Hey whats the big de-" Natsu started before he and Gray looked up to see an orange and black creature with glowing eyes and leather like skin looking down another hallway away from them.

"What is that?" Gray asked placing his fist into the palm of his other hand ready to cast a spell.

The creature looked their way before another noise pulled its attention to the hallway it was starring down with wide, glowing eyes. It made a screeching noise that sounded like a scream before it turned and ran towards them.

Natsu's fist light on fire and Erza drew a her sword from its sheath on her hip, but the creature was halted by a piece of its stomach exploding. The three mages jumped back in shock as the creature fell and skidded to a stop in front of them, its blood creating a trail from where it fell to its resting place.

The Slayer stood at the end of the hallway with his combat shotgun in one hand and another one of the creatures in his other. He twisted his gun around and pointed it at the creature and blasted the monsters head off before throwing it down on the ground.

The three mages looked at him in horror and shocked curiosity. "Hey, you! Who are you? What are these creatures?!" Erza called out to him.

The Slayer looked at her before looking back down at the hallway he came from and walking through it, pumping his shotgun as he went. Natsu got angry,"Hey, Erza asked you a question! Get back here!" He jumped over Gray and Erza and ran after him.

"Natsu wait!" Erza told him but Natsu ignore the question and ran down the other hallway. Erza ran after him,"Cray flame brain!" Gray muttered before running with her.

The ran down the hall way only to duck or jumped out of the way as Natsu came flying past them into the wall. He hit hard and fell down onto one knee trying to get some air from having the breath knocked out of him.

Gray stood up and looked down the hallway, the Slayer had pushed another creature that was much larger with pale skin and had a glowing red axe with similar armor to the slayer into the wall. He had a machine gun was at the creatures stomach and was firing it until the creature slumped in the Slayers grip. The Slayer grabbed the creature and tossed him backwards.

The Slayer walked forward and traded the machine gun for his super shotgun. He placed the shotgun near the creatures face.

The bleeding creature looked up at the twin barrels and then over at the Slayer,"Your not going to get anything from me, betrayer. May hell consume you who-" the creatures deep monsterous voice was cut off by its head being exploded by the Slayers foot.

Gray and Erza took different fighting stances, but with only the Slayer standing there now they were giving a chance to see that the rest of the Hallway was littered with blood and different peices of similiar creatures. The Slayer stared them down before walking towards them.

The two shaken mages prepared to fight back, but they were taken back as the Slayer seemingly made his shotgun disappear. He wordlessly stopped in front of the three mages, not moving, not threatning them in anyway.

Erza and Gray looked at the man towering above them, he seemed to eminate an aura of pure strength and controled rage.

A ding sounded from the Slayers helmet drew his attention and confused the two mages. Natsu was still recovering but managed to get to his feet as the Slayer placed two fingers on the side of his helmet, where his ear would be.

He turned to the side and seemed to be listening to something. Erza and Gray slipped out of their stances slightly. Erza went to say something but the Slayer raised a finger to keep her from speaking.
