Hi, I'll keep this short as I know how much we all hate author's notes - but they do serve a good purpose!
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who's decided to give my work a chance.
This story encases many things personal to me - my view on the world, beliefs and values. As well as acts as a place similar to that Narnia, my most cherished childhood book series, which you can escape to when times get a little bit too funky.
I encourage you to stick with me a while, the story requires several chapters of buildup to set the foundations of Valentina's journey.
You'll soon come to realise that with time, the mysteries are quick to unravel - like a ball rolling down a slope, it's slow at first however suddenly picks up speed and travels so fast that it can't be followed by the eye.
I promise, though, unlike the ball, this fairy-tale that you never knew you needed in your life won't become a blur.
I also write poetry and adore spirituality and divination - head over to my Instagram to get a slice of my life. Expect excerpts from stories I'll probably never write, poetry bad enough to make Shakespeare's ghost quake, god-awful pictures of myself and tarot decks and magic galore!
